so a police helicopter just flew over... was moving pretty fast but very low and right over my girls, didnt stop. also in a path i have never seen them fly before. i just have 2 of them and only like 3 feet tall on the edge of the woods in pots right next to each other. do you think i have anything to worry about?

i dont think so igot busted 2 weeks ago by chopper they had all kinds of equipment hanging underneath and did alot of hovering and moving around idont think they can get ya just flying by like that
hmmm i feel a lot better now. was yours very obvious and has anyone else been busted by helicopters?

yeah i didnt try to hide it cop told me they were just in the area they didnt suspect me or anything they were just trying out their toys my bad luck

You can never be to sure, If you can try and move them indoors.
ha that would suck if they did, actually i would rather them do that then take my ass to jail. i was thinking about bringing them indoors if it starts to frost too early. would a 36 watt hps and 2 26 watt fluros be enough light for 2 plants about 3 feet tall? just enough to finnish them cause there about half way through flower. i tried to sprout some under the lights i have but they always died after breaking the seed off, i think the heat was too extreme for the little ones. so what do ya think?
I would not go anywhere near those plants until they are done in case they are being watched, or have motion cameras set up to see who visits them. Put on a ski-mask and all dark clothing with no markings, duct tape on the bottom of your boots and get in and out fast, leaving nothing behind after harvesting in middle of the night. If you must visit the plants from lack of rain, or whatever then make sure you've taken the above precautions as I find it unlikely they'll have humans stake out your 2 plant plot 24/7.
My friend got busted this way once, went to visit his plants a couple days after a copter flew over and noticed some tracks leading up to the plants yet they remained untouched so he assumed it was a thief waiting for them to finish and ignored it and planned to harvest a little early. Soon as he harvested them a couple days later he got raided and had his house torn apart while searching for everything else they could bust him with and they had video proof from a night vision camera showing his face in perfect clarity as he walked up to the plants and they found finger prints on the pots and a tool laying on the ground by them. Luckily it was only a few plants so he didn't get much time. Be careful!
Edit: He also told me the police did not find the other small patch about 200 yards away from the previous one.

Im a medical patent, and keep up on the laws vigorously, i beleave it has now become illegal for them to use helcopters in this way. i might be wrong, and thi might only be oregon and washington, cali.

They don't have x-ray devices for this. They use thermal imaging which reads the outside of houses to determine which has a lot of suspicious heat coming from it. Something a 1000 watt hps would make.
So if you can dispense that heat via cool tube, to ventilation like out a side shoot or into an ac or something that wouldn't be suspicious for producing some heat then you will be fine.So main point being if the heat doesn't reach the walls of your house or apartment then they can't read where they heat is coming from. 1000 watt-ers are no joke!! When I had a hydro set up with a 1000 watt HPS, I worried all the time about thermal imaging. The room dimensions were 12X12 and if you let it (no exhaust fans) that light would raise the temp in that room to close to 100 degrees. Even with exhaust fans and ventilation I had problems keeping the temps down at first, it would be 87-90 in there by the end of the 12/12 cycle everyday, way too hot. Of course this was my first grow, many years and lessons ago.
Now you can get things like cool tubes and light system cooling kits, and portable air conditioning units so keeping temps down is really easy. like the poster above suggested if your worried about the 1000 watt HPS and the heat it can produce showing up on thermal imaging the best investment for you would be a reflector hood that you can use a cooling kit with to exhaust that heat out with.
