Ok. LETS SEE IF I CAN DO THIS. I DID A POISON DWARF SEED RUN AND WAITED UNTIL I WAS FINISHED BEFORE I POSTED ANYTHING.

SO FIRST OFF, I ORDERED FROM THE ATTITUDE DURING AN OCTOBER PROMO I THINK MAINLY BECAUSE I WANTED THE FREE SEEDS (G13 AUTO AK AND PINEAPPLE EXPRESS) AND I'VE BEEN CURIOUS ABOUT AUTOS FOR A WHILE NOW. AND A FRIEND OF MINE WITH A LOT OF PRIVATE LAND WAS TALKING ABOUT BUYING A LARGE QUANTITY OF AUTO SEEDS TO PUT OUTSIDE THIS UPCOMING SPRING. SO I FIGURE I'LL KILL A FEW BIRDS WITH A $40 STONE AND PICK UP A 10 PACK OF THESE POISON DWARFS.

THIS GROW WAS A LOT OF FIRSTS FOR ME. FIRST AUTO, FIRST CFL, FIRST BREED. I'M USED TO GROWING PHOTOS UNDER HIDS FROM CLONES. I HAD GOTTEN RID OF MY GROW EQUIPMENT AROUND A YEAR AGO AND HAVE BEEN MISSING IT SINCE. SO I THOUGHT A LITTLE CFL CAB GROW WOULD SATISFY MY URGE TO GROW WITHOUT THE SEVERE PARANOIA OF A BIG STINKY FELONY CHILLING IN MY SPARE BEDROOM. AFTER I HAD STOPPED GROWING I STARTED PAYING ATTENTION TO THIS CAT, THE REV, WHO WRITES FOR SKUNK MAGAZINE AND HIS ORGANIC METHODS OF GROWING. I LIKED THE IDEA OF JUST WATERING YOUR PLANTS THE ENTIRE GROW AND FIGURED I WOULD GIVE IT A TRY.

SO, I WENT TO MY GROW SHOP AND PICKED UP SOME HALF GALLON GROW BAGS AND A BAG OF OCEAN FORREST AND WAITED FOR MY SEEDS.

9 out of the 10 poison dwarfs germinated within a day. the 10th one never did. i also popped the freebie auto ak from g13. oh, and i didnt use paper towel either. just filled the bags with dirt, and put a 1/2 inch layer of coco coir on top and put the seeds right in. i figured the coir would be better to germ than ocean forest and maybe would help with water retention also. it seemed to do the job.

i put them under 3 42 watt daylight cfls for the first 2 weeks. poison dwarf 007.jpgpoison dwarf 008.jpgpoison dwarf 009.jpgthis was the day before Halloween...

after showing their privates, the males blew up. ive never dealt with male plants before. they all got strechy compared to the ladies. so i kept 2 that were less streched and tossed the other 2 and let the magic happen...poison dwarf 034.jpgpoison dwarf 035.jpgno joke these are from 11/13! i couldn't believe how fast they were growing!

anyway, turns out i need to practice super cropping. the next day the top of the ak had straightened back out and was right in one of the 65 watt cfls. burnt to shit. so i reluctantly topped her.

as you can see, i strayed a bit from my original plan of keeping it as simple as possible and burnt these bitches with a compost tea. but not too bad. i thinks these wouldn't need anything besides what's already in the soil.

by 11/21, it looked like the males had finished blowing their load so i cut off some remaining pollen sacks and jarred them up for future use and tossed em.poison dwarf 045.jpg

on the 19th, i checked the trichomes under a 100x microscope and couldn't believe that i had 1/3 amber! the weird thing was there werent that many red hairs. actually there werent many hairs at all. could that have some thing to do with being pollenated? here's there last family portrait.poison dwarf 066.jpg

these are DRY weights by the way. not including the stems.

#4 weighed 8.1g and for some reason i didn't snap a pic of her. and #5 was a weak 7.0g and last but not least the auto ak weighed a scale shattering 21g! dry! even after i topped her she put everyone to shame. i'm guessing i was just wicked baked by the end of the trim session because i dont have pics of her either. sorry sirs.

and if you think about it, the weights really arent that important because they were jam packed with big ripe seeds!poison dwarf 079.jpg

i seeded each plant at a time and kept the seeds separate. but just collected all the ground bud in one jar. how much bud you ask?

poison dwarf 081.jpgabout 22 grams. lol. but its good smoke with a good buzz and a grapefruity smell and taste. i think i'll do another run in the cab for some seedless and see how that turns out. what do you guys think? i'm kinda psyched to try the poison dwarf/ak seeds. the dwarf is a northern light and that and the ak are both stable breeding strains. im curious to see if there will be any uniformity the their offspring. and let me know if you like seeing the whole grow at one time like this. and thanks for checking it out. peace.
