POI, Fire, Flow Toys, Devil Sticks, Hoola hoops...

I know these aren't substances but I figured this thread would be more appreciated here than T&T and maybe wont get lost in the crowd as easily.. Post your own vids if thats how you roll.. I have a lot of friends that have flow toys and a few that spin fire...

Ok...fire dance is pretty bad ass, girl with glow stick strings not so cool...lol. I mean she is an attractive girl, but jeez she is just kinda standing there swinging sticks around...I mean I guess it would hurt if you flopped yourself in the head with one swinging fast, but the fire is a good deal more exciting.

Stick thing is pretty cool too...seems to require a good bit of skill and coordination.

You would appreciate it more in person but I get what you're saying. The glow sticks are better when your tripping/rolling and its 8 feet in front of you. Big hit amongst rave/dubstep type people.. LSD+Flow Toys=Tracers lol

Its all POI whether its on fire or not. Fire is just more dangerous

I hate when people come up and start touching you with those gloves that put on light shows. Well if their good looking I let it slide sometimes . Still I don't care if your gurning your face off with light up gloves that's no excuse to come up and start rubbing your hands all over me. Plus you have no idea what they could've been touching before your face...

Right, that's gross. I would be definitely uncomfortable if someone touched me with anything lol

i glove, but would like to get better at poi. A decent glover wont rub your face, cant say ive ever touched anyone or have seen anyone get touched during a lightshow from someone decent that actually has structure. kids nowadays buy cheap gloves from some mickymouse ass vendor like 5 mins before the show outside the venue, turn on the strobes and just attempt to glove by waving their hands in your face and possibly in your case touch you. sorry youve had bad experience with glove shows but i feel like you just need a good one.

In reality it is stupid, really, who wants to watch someone wave there hands around.
Poi is at least entertaining in the dark.

I'd rather watch the laser show and trip my face off.

I have fond memories of watching sexy girls do fire poi and even use a fire hoola hoop while I was tripping on the beach in a drum circle. It's so crazy in person!

for real. glow gloves are fcking dumb... im sorry. ive seen way too many dumb asses try waving those things in their friends/ girlfriends faces and they just look at them like "uhhhh wtf??" They spend hours upon hours creating the visuals to go with the music for a reason.

POI/ Firedancing is cool though. More so the Firedancing and those devils sticks
