Poacher traps!

whats the best way to hurt poachers? has anyone set up any kind of trap? security cameras are outa the question, im trying to keep cost down on the grow. but im growing outside in a backyard and no one knows about it, but people have stole them years before so im just wondering how do you keep your plants safe from assholes????

traps?the problem there is when the guy gets injured the cops will prolly show and yer crops gone anyway,and potentially maiming someone would prolly bring more of an investigation than them finding plants would,and there's always the off chance you could get an innocent neighborhood kid or pet.i'd go with a privacy fence or locks on existing fence, or become the proud owner of a really big guard dog
