PLZ HELP important before i start

Some people during harvesting either use 24 hours light to give their buds the final boost or 24 hours dark. Which is good? or do you just leave it at 12/12 all the way threw flowering until harvest.

i had heard 48 hrs dark b4 u cuttem = more crystals but i dont know 4 sure..... might wanna wait 4 a master opinion - shit i wanna know 4sure too..........

That setup should definitely be sufficient. Odor is really only a factor after flowering has begun so you have some time to worry about that.

Well, with eight plants in there you are going to have to keep them small. You will have to turn them over very early. My guess is that you will harvest over a half pound. You are not going to have very much room in there though.

Optimal picking time is at the end of the light cycle. I've never tried 24hours any way but you should take into account that you are going to be trimming for hours after you pick your plant. So consider that when you harvest. I always wait for the kids to go to sleep

Thanks so just keep 12 12 all the way threw.. and when its time to harvest do i just start cutting branches n leafs off or take the whole plant out of the pot then cut the leafs n branches?

and im new so im wondering which part is the "cola"? or something like that

Oh and that venting system i posted up there with the 20$ fan and the 50$ carbon filter, would it work?

Cola's are the large flowers at the end of the branch. "Cola" is actually more than one flower, it just appears to be one at harvest.

That venting system should be adequate for that light but I would recommend putting 600w at the least, for dense buds.

I cut off branches and trim the buds while on the branch. Then hang in a DARK room at 50% humidity, 65 degrees. PATIENCE is a virtue. The buds may take up to two weeks to dry. I bag my buds when the stems start to snap.

Ok, and what do u do with the Cola, smoke it? take it off?

If your a pothead, then you smoke it. If your DEA, then you take it off.

But don't smoke it too early. The flower will tell you when it's ready. After you have begun flowering, your plants will produce flowers with long white hairs. These hairs will start to turn red as the weeks go by. At 8-10 weeks, you should be looking for over 70% red hairs. When this happens, its time to trim and hang those branches in a DARK room.
