hey everyone, i got a couple questions about almost everything. :?

i just started growing my plant about a week and a half ago, i started with a small pot and used half miracle grow and half natural soil that i got from my garden. after about a couple days i bought hyponex potting soil and transferred the plant into a bigger pot and used the new soil. i just looked it up online and apparently it is low quality soil. so now im looking for a new brand of soil that is decent and not to expensive. does anyone have any recommendations. I'm looking for soil with a good ph level for the plant and enough nutrients for it to be healthy.

Another questions i have is about watering, i water the plant with water at approximately a 6.0 ph level whenever i see it is dry on the surface, but would it be better if i picked a specific time like in the morning or at night, and about how much should i water at a time.

the next thing is about nutrition, when should i start giving the plant nutrients and what would be the best brand and what store would i be able to buy it at.

and finally the last thing is about the lighting, im using 2 cfls with 1600 lumens each, is that enough for now and when will i have to get more.

besides that let me know how my plant is comming along.

THANKS :joint::hump:

Best to water in the morning, or right before or after you turn on the lights.

Lots of opinions on nutrients... I prefer organics.

About 1 foot and you'll need more light, if you have reflectors.

they are fine. my experience with hyponex is that it is too dense if used plain. after a few weeks the soil will compact, sour (turn acidic) and root rot will begin. avoid it.. if you have to use hyponex, get something to fluff it up and aerate it, (lots) perlite and peat moss, cooconut fiber in place of peat is even better if you can find it. most times hyponex is infested with fungus knat eggs. last time i HAD to use hyponex, i mixed jiffy seed starter mix and lots of perlite with it, worked fine. I suggest Ocean Forest Organic Potting Soil from Fox Farm. CFLs will do fine for veg growth but getting 250w+ (depending on grow space) HPS light is recommended for flower. if you wantt to flower under fluoro you should get a 4 tube t5 fixture.
