PLEASE READ * PICS INClUDED*

Sorry for the caption guys but I just want to get peoples attention to read my thread lol

Anyway I have 5 plants crammed into a 1x2 1x2 2M high tent with a 600HPS, A 6 inch extractor fan pulling air in then I have a couple off household fans to keep things flowing, I’m also growing in 16L Rhizo pots so there is plenty enough room for the roots and my extraction is a RVK125A1, Basically this is the grow tent I’m using, It was a bundle so I thought I’d just buy it, Plus I’m using all the Canna Nutes and Additives.

I’m growing a mixture off plants that are all 8 weekers bought from Royal Queen Seeds, There blue cheese is looking unreal by the way.


Right here’s some pics off my plants, They are 5 1/2 weeks into flower and I’m giving them there PK13/14 boost for a week until week 6, Also I’m using a a 20L bucket to mix everything in with and I’m filling the “LIGHT FEEDING CHART” on the canna website, I understand that more is less I’ve read into it.

*PLEASE TELL ME HOW IM DOING AND BE HONEST* Just so I can learn for my next grow as soon as these are done, The thing that got me is that I feel i should of defoliated so that the lower bud sites could receive more light but I’ve took a fair few leaves off anyway, I’m only done a few grows so I’m learning as I go I think I’ve done 7/8/9 grows I can’t remember the first one was dreadfull I’ll admit so obviously still learning where as you guys Have probably been growing for years, Plus I’ve picked up a few tips from you guys without yous even knowing it! Just from reading threads and posts for hours Shout Out to *KINGGROW* I’ve been reading his posts/Threads and they are very knowledgeable my friend, Plus there’s another few I’ve been reading but I can’t remember the name off usernames, Anyway here’s the pics.
Remember they are all different strains but al 8 weekers a just wanted some different weed to smoke rather than sick off smoking the same strain, So I have choice I know what some off the stains are I am tell but a just didn’t want to name them and put the name off the strain on the pots, Sorry for the rambling here’s the pics.

Plus can someone fill me in on this plant it’s meant to be Blue Ice, But I have never seen so many white hairs on a plant before in my life, Here it is.

Theyre looking good , but you have WAY more than 3 weeks to go....no plant is an 8 weeks all those breeding times are bullshit , the only way theyd ever be nearly accurate is from the first appearance of true flower clusters.

The only way you can tell if they are ready in the end is using a 30x+ jewellers loupe or similiar to check the trichomes on the buds , they also usually start to consume their fan leaves when they are coming to an end and not until then if all is well. Indicas 5-10% amber Sativas 15-25% ambers seems the ticket apparently , dont quote me though , worked out well with my Super Lemon Haze at 15-20% , could have even let them go a week longer maybe , you also want as many cloudy and as little clear as possible ideally without going overboard on the ambers.

Its so fucking easy to harvest early , I have some daiquiri lime autos and a gigabud auto going at the moment , meant to be 10-11 weeks from seed.......theyre coming up to 13 weeks under my 600w HID and theyre not nearly fucking ready , SLH meant to be 9-10 weeks flower , but they easily take 16 weeks from 12/12 flip , breeders definitely go off first true flower appearance after the transition phase , it can be quite accurate then.

Thanks for your reply buddy much Appreciated I’ll take it on board, Yeah I’ve heard that that the breeder will say 8 weeks flower time but then I’ve read on forums like this and people say when you flip you don’t count the first 2 weeks you count the first appearance off flowers hence after around 2 weeks as soon as I flipped i strayed adding Canna Boost just to speed they flower process up a bit I’ve also read that it can do that but there’s that much information out there about how to growntou don’t know what to belive really do you. A think I’ll let them go until week 9 but then they are all growing in Coco is it true you can get away with flushing for like 3-4 days in Coco? Just I’ve read people on here stopping nutes and additives at week 7 and flushing for 2 weeks!?!? A was like whatttt a 2 week flush, Cheers Buddy.

i would top and flower earlier and add a couple more plants for max yeilds. Your waterings off somehow, pretty sure some look parched underwatered a bit but mainly all i see is some mild moisture stress.

You got bud and a good supply, there aint no problems really

as long as those hairs are staying pristine white, they are still having a good time.
What often happens is they run out of iron that in turn leads to an increase in ethylene gas production to speed up ripening.

Cheers for your input buddy I’ve been reading your threads and posts and got some good info off them, I vegged them for 4 1/2 weeks and the stretch on them was unbelievable the light is as hight as it can go, You mentioned the underwatering there I feed them 1L a day off my Canna Additives and Nutes is that enough or should top up a little more you think? Ohh yeah forgot to mention in my original post every plant has been topped once, Cheers for your input.

Tbh it all looks sweet atm, can i ask whats your opinion, you enjoying or bummed out buds not better or yeilds or happy so far or hoping to advance quicker or what?

Id just keep on doing what your doing for now observe the plants grow keep it simple

Cheers for the input buddy, It’s just yields I’m hoping to pull 3 ounce a plant and my plants overall well being iff you Get me I was thinking about defoliating just before I put them into flower so that the lower bud sites can get more light to them but i deceided to leave it because apparently I’ve heard and read on here it’s bad to just pull big fan leaves blocking bud sites on a plant wether it is or not a dont know so a just panicked a bit and just left them with all the leafs on and didn’t defoliate, They look bushy as f*ck, But cheers for saying they look sweeeettt.

Defoliating is a fad, avoid it.
Rhizo pots suck, phase them one by one over the next grows.
Your watering seems off somewhere but you can check that in the next grows.

Id be suprised if plants didnt give you 2 to 3 oz or abouts. If you adjust the few small errors your making over time you will have what you want. this shit can be frustrating but you stuck at it and always have your own supply now

I thought that I should avoid defoliation I’ll admit I have been snipping A few fan leaves off with a little pair off scissors so that the lower bud sites can get more light, It’s a touchy subject defoliation some people swear by it and completely stripping the plant off all the bottom bits so it can put all it’s energy into bud production then other people say just leave the leaves on because they carry all the nutes in the leaves that the plant needs, I don’t know each to there’s own.

Again I heard Rhizo Pots where the best lots to use I picked that up on here, Im already considering my next grown and what I’m going to do lol I think i might use square 10L pots and try and get a few more plants in my tent Id be over the moon if i got 3 oz off each plant I have 5 in there so that will be 15, My last grow I done it was Royal Cheese and White Widow from Royal Queen Seeds, I had 4 in one hermed on me badly and the other 3 I got 2 1/2 oz off them off lovely stinking Cheese and one plant off Widow.

Plus I have a couple off Autos outside in the U.K weather that are just getting fed Canna A+B all the way through and are in “Normal” soil Jacks I think it’s called, So I’m wondering what they will turn out like, First time I’ve grey Autos, I’ve never bothered with them inside I like my Photoperiods.

Many of us dont defoliate or use rhizo pots from experience because the same results and yeilds can be had without them.


Other than just the few small changes and problems id pack that tent out more say 9 plants try keep em shorter, at this point only the top half of the plant will ever get light so no need to defoliate just tuck a few leaves here and there.


You should be up to a good growers level soon so mucho pressure on you not to mess up

Ahhh okay I see, Like i say if I pull 2 1/2 3 Ounces off each plant I have now I’d be over the moon i pulled 2 ounces off each plant i has on my last grow.

Wowww you really think I can fit 9 plants in that tent in only a 1x2 1x2 2 MH I might just look into that actually after I have finished typing this, I imagine they will have to be 8L pots at least or 10L pots I’ve got 16 L I’m now lol I’ll See what stains I can grow eyyy with the same flower time I mean these plants now I vegged them for 4 1/2 weeks and the stretch on some off them was unbelievable with them been different strains there light is as high as it can be lol So what would you recommend I veg the 9 plants for on my next grow? Around 2 weeks from seed, Topped or untopped?
