please offer me some relief

so like about a month ago, i went to my local headshop and asked if they carried the vaporgenie, they told me they didnt but they did have another one very similar. i never had seem the piece before but it was pretty similar in design to the vaporgenie. it was metal though instead of wood. they didnt tell me the name of the product. so i did a little research and found it was the vapor buddy. then i found out that apparently there is dangerous amounts of lead all over this thing and im really freaked out. the only relief i have so far is that, from the few pics i saw of the fake ones, there is no paint inside the bowl or anything. i read something from a vaporizer website that said the legitimate vaporbuddy doesnt contain lead, and that its only the fake one. but im confused because, one being 2010 why is my headshop still selling these things when you cant find them anywhere online, and two like am i going to fucking die because thats what im convincing myself right now. im freaking the fuck out and dont wanna go anywhere near that thing until i know the truth. p.s. it cost 40$ and seems to be good quality, its pretty heavy and once again there is no paint on the inside. help i realize this has nothing to do with growing but im desperate guys.

if a store is selling it, then buy it and use it.

if they are willing to put a potentially deadly product on their shelves then they are asking for a multi million dollar mesothelioma lawsuit.

if you get sick from lead, its almost a near million dollar accident if a party is found completely at fault. if they don't warn you than they pay up in full.

i'm sure they dont want to lose their store of 20 years for a 40 dollar piece, which is like a 25 dollar profit.

buy it if u havent already and use it.

i dont roll js haha so im not too familiar with that kind of stuff. and being a pussy? some places said it fucking had lead in it, that doesnt sound good. being concerned about your health doesnt make you a pussy, ill take my health over money... i would hope that the store had enough integrity to make sure that this thing was safe

and the second part is what i'm really trying to get at all jokes aside. i'm sure they have heard of this, about possibilities that even they themselves, purchased a faulty product, but someone would have said something by now, or done something.

hey guys i know i have issues with worrying about everything but thats not my fault! i get that from my mom haha. but i called the store today and they told me they bought them recently and she was pretty certain they were fine. I asked her to check where they got them and im waiting for her to call me back. ill try to fight my worrying haha but itll probably be tough to break
