Please, I Need Help With a Dilemma I am Having?

This is my second grow of AK 47. Out of 8 different people who took clones, my crop came out the best by far. It was the best it could be I was told by many. A great High, A great Taste, etc... The only problem I had was I only got about an ounce per plant. I harvested them at 53 days. I am doing everything the same this time because everything worked great the first time around.

Here's my dilemma, My dad and brother are coming up to visit me 3 days before I am to harvest them. My dad owns the house and would throw me out on my ass if he found out. Since it is AK 47 and it has very strong odor I have a nice scrubber set up in the room that should take care of the smell. Sometimes I can hear things vibrating from the room and the circuit breaker trips if we aren't careful and we turn more than a couple things on when the lights are on. We are running 2 1000 watt Sun Master MH Bulbs, The Scrubber (The Goblin), 1 Portable AC to help with the heat, and a few fans. I watch youtube and read a few articles about putting in another circuit breaker for just that room but am not sure I want t take the chance with electricity.

Here's my choices that I can think of:

1) I could Harvest about a week early to get everything down and put away before they get here? Like I said before my last crop was kick ass, in fact the best I have ever smoked in 25 years. Will the quality diminish a lot? I still plan on drying and curing for the month I did the last time. My father never goes into the basement when he visits but the possibility is always there.

2) Move everything out to a shed. The problem with that is will the cops find it? smell it? pick up the lights with infrared? Or maybe I could just put them out there to dry with no lights? Another problem is the Environmental Police DO NOT NEED a warrant to look in sheds and other out buildings. One other thing is there may be a possibility my father or brother will want to take something they left behind from the shed (they are driving a trailer back for someone).

3) The room is built into a non finished basement. It isn't all fancy, It's just a plywood room with a homemade plywood door with a lock. Lights and sounds escape through door cracks. It is right next to the laundry area. I was thinking of building a room around the laundry area. This room would be built so it also went around the existing grow room so all one would see would be one room and no lights and sounds would escape. My father wouldn't go into the laundry area and I would just say it was laundry and storage.

4) Option #4: Keep everything just the way it is. Out of site out of mind. He would be coming up late Monday night and leaving Wed, morning. Can I pull it off? I am married with 2 kids and can't afford to be kicked out. On the other hand times are really tough and I can't afford to give up the crop either. I think as long as he doesn't go down stair's into the basement. As long as the circuit breaker's don't trip. And as long as the smell and sounds don't some up through the floor, then will be OK.

Sorry for the long ass post. I would welcome all suggestions at this point. Thanks:?

yeah its better to be safe than sorry. what about just taking the lights down and putting them outside for a couple days. its the right time of year and they would just continue flowering. that way you can have a proper harvest too.

It is time to man up and do what is right for your family. You have to think of them. What will you tell them if you find yourselves on the street? then you won't have a place to grow at all.

If you absolutely would not be able to feed your family or care for them without this crop, consider doing a bang up job on option #3 or option #1

serapis has a valid point you deffinately dont want to get caught even if no fear of the cops you said you would get kicked out and its hard to tell a wife why your getting kicked out by your own father. i would just take it down and put them outside for a day or two and when he leaves put it all back up. that way all bullets are dodged

This is tough. But on the main note : you kind of pickled yourself here. You should be up building something new or moving things somewhere else as we speak. If you get your shit in line at this very moment and pick an option things will go smooth. It's hard to give an answer for this seeing as how there are all the small details I would have no idea about but I can't leave you hangin. MY first issue to tackle would be getting AWAY from the house. As far as possible. In your case you mentioned the shed. Depending on how much/little it gets used I doubt you'll all be spending quality time there very much. You'll risk infesting your crop with outdoor heebie-jeebies and such but that's better than losing your home or not having a crop at all. Take as many insect/mold precautions as you can get and start a'movin those suckers to the shed.

Thank you all for your suggestions. The outside thing would be OK if I didn't have 350 plants...lol...NO, HA, HA, BUT I WISH :) But 35 plants is still too many to put outside when your neighbor to the right is a town cop and the neighbor across the street is the town fire chief...lol. In my Albums folders I posted a pic of the set up so you can get an idea of what I got going on. The dotted lines are walls I want to build that aren't built yet. The diagram should be pretty self explanatory.

One more thing. My brand new 2 month old Sun Master 1000Watt MH Bulb blew lat Night. How long can I get away without replacing it? I distributed the other light to cover most of the plants. Will it make them grow a lot slower? Should the bulb be under warranty considering they cost so much money to buy? The last 2 bulb's I owned lasted 2-3+ years. This one had only been lit up 18 hours a day for 20 days and 12 hrs a day for 32 days. Should the store exchange it without a hassle or am I just screwed? lol
