I'm sorry, I know I ask you guys a ton of questions, and I'm so grateful for this forum, you guys rule! The best forum I have ever joined, I have gotten so much help from your members, especially popcorn 900! I love you all!
My first indoor grow, just moved from California so I am forced into indoors. I'm going to be using Stealth Growers Choice. My husband planted 4 seeds only these two made it, one is Afghani #1 and the other is Master Kush. His stems are purple. We have given it Flora series nutrients one time at under 200 ppm. We are growing under a CFL Sylvania 6500k 100 watt bulb. I'm concerned about the humidity, it usually is between 40 and 50 today it was 35, so I guess I should invest in a humidifier, correct?
I asked the other day if they should go into the netted pots, and was told to waits till the roots grew longer. They are sitting under the CFL in a bowl, should I add a little water to bottom feed those roots so the roots do not die. I just flushed them with ro water and baking soda to prevent fungus. Or should I go ahead and put them into the netted pots. He doesn't know what to do about notes, using stealth hydro nutes or flora series by general hydroponics. Also, should he use hydrogen peroxide or aqua shield, which is what I'm planning on using.
I let him go first, so I could learn from his mistakes. I germinated some Aurora Indica,Reserve Privada Femanized Kosher Kush, GDP x og, Boss Hogg, some more Aghani#1 and Master Kush, I put them on a plate using paper towel method, and they all popped a tiny bit except the Boss Hogg, if the seeds do survive into females I will have extra for my tiny dwc kit, so we are going to upgrade to the 5 gallon like popcorn has. And I do believe I will use advanced nutes like I did growing outdoors in California with excellent results, even the police would compliment me on my plants! Big huge frost buds, looked like Christmas!
I had no clue I would have to live outside with them during harvest time, their were shotguns going off all through the night. My neighbor even built a steel cage around his crop and they still stole his crop! It seemed like 1 in 5 people be ripped off, I lived in lake county, and people from Oakland would come up to rob us! Assholes!
Also, my husband is using rock wool cubes, he per soaked at 5.8 ph, that is where we are planning to keep the ph. I was thinking of root riot cubes, can you even use them in hydro or should I stick to rock wool which I have a ton of?
Any help is greatly appreciated, big hugs to you all and happy growing and good luck! Big hugs, me!

see the stems . they are purple. the ph is over 7 ? and you don't need to feed those with fertilizer. if you do feed them should be 1/10 the strength of reg strength . I usually never feed then until the roots are broke through the grow block. unless you see yelling. in your case (high ph = purple stems) what is your ph ?

Thank you Sun King!
I can't even read the post.
From pics,
to wet!
Feeding to soon!
wrong PH!
put away the equipment and do a few weeks of study.
Save your seeds, they maybe precious depending on your current home state.

jsyk, I didn't read anything. But you've got seedlings basically in a metal oven. they like high humidity for the first 1-2 weeks. Throw your cube in a solo cup w/ soil and put a sandwich bag over it. Get more cfls and place them around the plants (1 bulb, 1 inch away from each plant). Your seedling is baked and stretched; those steps will fix that. GL bruh

So sorry about font size, I use my ph at 5.8 as recommended bu you guys, yes I have great seeds from attitude, my husband had the font sixe readjusted, I think he doesn't know how to use an iPad correctly, I apologize again. The ph is 5.8 under a 100 watt CFL with a fan to make stems stronger. I would never go to 7.0 outdoors or indoors for ph! I will follow your directions mrCRC420' I promise I'm from California I have grown outdoors for years, I have never grown indoors, that's why I do not know exactly what I'm doing. I have downloaded every book they have for growing indoors with hydro in dwc from kindle and do as much research as possible including the posts on your site. I trust your information. I already germinated my seeds last night, and all of them but the boss Hogg have started to throw a taproot. So I have to get this down, I promise I have done as much research as possible. I know I have to get a humidifier. These little seedlings have been growing for a month, I just gave them a little bit of nutes from flora series at 156 ppm. Thank you for your help, running to store now to buy some solo cups right now, thanks again so much, and I apologize again about the huge font, will not happen again. You guys are awesome, thank you for your help!

Go ahead and put them in your net pots with hydroton. As long as they are in just rockwool cubes the roots will never get any bigger because they brown off when they hit light. Also, you're running risk of getting fungus( damping off due to stem staying wet all the time
Put in pots and set water level in dwc to where the bubbles keep the bottom inch or so of pots wet. Then when you see roots coming out of bottom of pot lower water level until only the roots get wet from bubbles.
When you put in pots try and keep the rockwool around 2 in from bottom of pot.

Thankyou hygrdogreen65, I felt like I was getting yelled at for my post, the font sixe was my husbands doing, he is more computer illiterate than I am because he's 20 years older than I am, and just learning what a PC can do besides play games! I filled up my resovoir tank, so they would just hit the very bottom but, I have to go to the store today, we have our grow room built nice actually, but it's in the basement which is cold as hell, I believe that's why I have a lot of problems. I have floating thermometers and the water is cold, so I put them in solo cubs that mrcrc420 suggested and put sand which bags over them and the humidity went down, but they are filled with moisture, so I am going to invest in another humidity gage and buy another humidifier until I can get to the store or order off amazon and do next day delivery. I had so many lights and equipment, that we're put in a moving truck by some half ass moving company, I learned to never go the cheap route in moving, it took us a month and a half for them to finally show up, and 3/4 of my growing lights and other materials were missing! And they held my belongings as a ransome. We already paid them what they said they would charge us before we flew back to the Midwest, but said we owed them another grand to get our stuff, which we caved into because we wanted our bed, tv, furniture, etc...but what else should anyone expect out of lake county, Clearlake was the dirtiest, grossest town I have ever lived in,you guys, I promise I have read all over this board, how to grow, the biggest mistakes made, I have 8 hydro books downloaded from kindle, including the bible. It seems all I do is read, while my husband lets me do the work, and it's his grow! You have no idea how much gratitude I have for the members of this board, I read and read, and the more I read I get different answers it gets confusing. But I'll do what I set out to do today, and will keep you updated, thanks so much for your support and help!

before you spend money on a humidifier. Have you tried putting a small bucket of water in grow? You can put in front of fan and the evaporating water will raise humidity.

^ This.. had RH 20%, filled a home depot bucket with water and threw it where air flow will be best around it. Towards the end of the day I was sitting at a beautiful 50-55%

Another thing you can do is when you start your seeds or clones in rockwool, leave the covers on cubes then place on an inch or so of perilite or hydroton.
The covers keep light off roots and causes them to grow downward. Once you see roots you water by putting water in bottom of tray or container. That way your rockwool and upper roots stay dry to prevent damping off.
These are just suggestions of what I have found that works with great results for me.

:-(image.jpgimage.jpgI'm so sorry about my post, I'm doing the best I can, I do not want to piss any of you off, my wifi was hacked into, and my laptops won't run, now my husbands desktop gaming PC is not working ( I don't know if that is a blessing in disguise or not) because now all of a sudden he is really into the plants and bothering me every 5 minutes! Wish he would be able to get back to his games now! My iPad is the only thing working, and it's all screwed up, or shoot, it can be me, with him bothering me constantly while I am trying to write to you guys, I could be doing it! I'm not too good at multi tasking! So I apologize and will try switching browsers. Especially the global mod, was so happy to see another Vegan on the board. I eat all organic, grow organic, I am a vegetarian,go to the Farmer's Market every week, to get the best organic veges I have ever eaten. So happy to see organic recipes to try, I didn't even see that section! Sorry indoor Sun King, I have bothered you enough, I am following all advice given, which seems like great advice when I actually read it, it made perfect sense to me! Hyrdrogreen, the fan seems so smile with a bucket in front of it. I seem to make things more complicated than they need to be, lime green you have been a terrific help as well as all of a you.. I'm following all suggestions, or he can get his lazy ass off and do it! I have my seeds popping, I have ordered more dwc 5 gallon buckets like popcorn has, and will read your grow journals and follow your advice. So when it comes time for my seeds to go into hydrotran, hopefully I will be ready and prepared. Thanks for everything, you guys are really kind, caring people who have helped me so much I'll be forever grateful. Thank you again!

Thanks, presoak end the cubes with ph 5.8 ro water, put tem in cubes, following all of your advice, I respect your input and I'm very grateful for your thoughts, good or bad, thanks again!

Those seeds cracked fast and the tails are very white, those are the kind of seeds I like. As for the other ones in cubes already you should have put them in pots by now they will do fine.

Thanks popcorn, already put in cubes, under a humidity dome wit just a T-5 and heating mat, you think I should put them in netted pots already and put in dwc already? I thought the seedling shoul emerge first?
