I am new to the forum and before I was a member I read through the messages and got started, rather successfully(Bagseeds). Now I have encountered a problem with my oldest, so to speak. Her (Hopefully ) leaves at about the 3rd node have started to turn splotchy brown and the surrounding leaves are beginning to show similar traits. Since this is my first grow I have some equipment that in all likelyhood needs upgrading. I have a small desk fan that does not rotate and IMO subpar lighting.(3 GE Plant lights 65 Watts and a couple of florescent bulbs.) I'm thinking that perhaps the fan is damaging the leaves. The temperature typically stays between 72-88F (thinking there have been peaks as high as 95F for a very short period of time until adjustments were made.)and I'm reasonably certain that it's not nutrient burn. Could the splotchy leaves be attributed to the fan blowing on the plant from below or is it something else, pests, heat, or even Overwatering. So I guess my questions are: 1.) Is my lighting completely inappropriate and if so what would you suggest in place of the current lighting. (Cost and location) 2.) Should I trim the most affected leaves and what is the probable cause of my current situation, watering, pest, heat, nutrients or wind.
Sorry I have no pictures at this time. My Grow room is in an extra shower 4'X4'X8'.
