Please help with timing of harvest (will be away for a week)

When do you think this will be ready to pull?

I will be out of town Mon Sept 26 through that Friday, so I am trying to time pulling this, drying and curing so that my absence doesn't screw anything up...

how far into flowering? get a mag glass and check the trics for maturity

Here's my dilemma. Plant could be done by this weekend.

Option 1: harvest this weekend and start drying, but will have to leave plants unattended mon-fri of next week.
Option 2: wait till week from Friday to pull, but then leave unattended This mon-fri and cannot do anything if mold becomes an issue.

See those little balls spitting out the white/brown hairs? once you see the first signs of those actually little buds not leaves with thc on them, its usually 2 weeks til finished.

leave em till you get back, them few days they wont be ruined if you let them keep growing.

if u pull them you risk messing up the drying/curing so IMO i would leave em growing till you get back

i really want to leave them, but i am getting really concerned about mold. there have been a few browning areas, and i came out this morning to some white-webbish mold on some of the buds. the concern is that the weather looks wet for the next few days, and then i am out of town for 5 days, unable to tend to it. what are the odds of a few 6 footers being totally conquered by the time i get back?

this is the one that i think is really close that i was hoping to chop next week - but let me know if i should just go ahead with it tomorrow:

Dude I don't know where you're located or what the climate's like, but I lost over a pound from my best plant last season due to mold in a similar situation. I went out to my spot one weekend and found beautiful huge colas that needed a week or two to finish. I went out a very rainy week later to find nearly everything decimated, all the colas rotted from the inside out with mold.

It's up to you to watch the forecast and make a decision, but I would strongly recommend you take your densest colas right before you leave and get them hanging. When you get back you can trim those up and jar em, and go harvest the rest.

Cool - thanks for the advice all. i snipped the buds this morning that were in danger, and spent a lot of time separating the good from the bad. question - i had to break up a lot of the buds so that i minimized the risk of leaving some mold in there. but as a result, i am left with a lot of popcorn buds that i cant hang. what's the best thing to do for these to get them to dry?

Throw em on an elevated screen. Like tape a screen flat across two chairs or whatever, and just lay the little buds on that. Turn em over once a day or so; they should dry out fine.
