Hey World,
Here is the deal, I recently moved from a cool low humid area to a very hot high humidity area and I was forced to go from DWC to soil as a result (or at least I thought so). Either way, I have found myself in a situation where bout I am running 2 trays with 20 plants each 6XX+ gph pump about 10-12 misters per tray, 1/15 Hp water cooler, 1 X 1000 watt with HPS high output bulb, and 1 X 400 watt MH in a 5X5 room with Mylar and vented with a 7XX 6-inch cent fan with Carbon filter...also, all lights are air cooled via the cent fan. Using fox farm nutes in soil and have switched to Envy A and B with Fox farm admendments and a little AN big bud for aero set-up. Now, for the major problem - I have been getting a lousy 7-28 grams (from the soil of course) from each of my plants. Since realizing the only way to fight heat is to spend the cash I have done so and need some help trying to "dial in my new aero set-up" I have a 12 gallon res between 5.0-6.0 PH, 1000 PPM, water chiller set 69-71 constant, heat a small problem (gets over 86 for about 2hours each day)...Any help from knowledge aerogardeners relative to clone size, to veg, not to veg, PPM, PH, Is flower time decreased or will my normal timeframe still be correct for the buzz that I am after... Please advise any help would be greatly appreciated.

20 plants each x 2 so 40 plants? u said 7 to 28 grams per plant so let's say 14. So you're harvesting 20 oz. on one 1000w light? That's almost 600 grams which is .6 grams/watt. Honestly that's not bad at all. From the variables u described, you should have no troubles. May need more details of the grow to help you get the 1 gram/watt 'goal', but those numbers aren't bad. Also, I ran temps in to the 90's frequently with no problems. Although that's with co2. The temp celing gets raised about 5 to 10 degrees with CO2. Also, if you aren't using CO2 that could help your yield too.

Bigbux,
Thanks a million for your reply i was beggining to think that no one cares....LOL. Actually I was getting the smaller yields when I was still using soil but the variables that I have described are relative to my new set-up and I have not harvested in this set up as of yet. I was hoping to find someone experienced with Aeroponics so that I can dial my system in a bit more. Also, I am actually running a 1000 watt high output HPS and a 400 watt MH. I would be happy with .5 grams a watt at this point. I don't have CO2 and when I was running soil I could not fit 40 plants in my small 5X5 area..... Do you think the 40 plants in aero will yield fairly well, I am adding another tray of 20 in about a week or two...All OG #18....Right now the 2 trays that are running 1 - lambsbreath, chronic, OG#18, Rocklock.... 2- King's Kush and Church..... So as I was saying, I was only getting 7-28 grams per plant and only able to run about 10-15 plants tops in fox farm soil of course, whcih means that most of the times I wasn't even getting a quarter pound ..Heck Im hoping to get 14-28 grams per plant and I want to know if I am missing something so that I don't have any surprises... Do you think these numbers are possible with my set-up and variables, should I change nutes, go with CO2, whats the best way, what size clones, should I veg clones, should I top PPM at 1000 or go higher....any help would be highly appreciated.....If I can't get any yields this time I am almost to give up...I feel like anything under a elbow would be complete failure and I'm running 1400 watts in 5X5 with water coolers, light coolers, and central AC.....By all means, please advise if there is anything that would help help!!!
