Please Help! white widow in dwc with canna

My Bucket setup:
Im growing regular white widow seeds in a bucket DWC setup using canna classic / hydro nutrients.
heres my nutrient mix at the moment:
8 litres of water i have left in the sun for 24 hours
8ml Canna Classic A&B
5ml Canna Rhizotonic
10ml Canna Canazym

pH: 6.0
ppm: ~800

I am now changing the nutrient solution every week and giving it 1 day a week of sitting in regular water flush it.

For spidermite control i am using the canadian xpress spray safe, your meant to just spray it on your plant and leave it, but it makes my plant leaves curl like crows feet and die, so i just spray it on, wait a few minutes and then spray it with a bunch of water to wash it all off, seems to work great so far that i can see lol

My plant is pretty cut back because of all the trial and error that i have been through, can you guys suggest anything extra i can do or do diffrently to get better growth out of my plant? Its quite a few months old, and its still pretty small in the grand scheme of things =[

Any help that you can provide is greatly appreciated, i love growing and i just cant seem to get my hydro going as good as my soil ones did =[

your roots look rotten u must not be getting enough air in your water, i dont know for sure i grow in soil myself, but that would be my best guess

when the roots went brown i did a quick bit of research and assumed it was due to my nutrients and nothing more, it would make sense if the plant is suffering from lack of bubbles / oxygen! I just went out and bought a much more powerful pump also with a new airstone, but the air stone sucked, so i put 2 of my disk shape air stones in there and it looks like boiling water now, goin off! the guy at the grow store also sold me a canadianxpress product to aid with root repair for damaged roots. Ill let you guys know how it all goes!

hey guys just a follow up, its a week on now and my roots are noticeably whiter, not too sure about growth up top but i think its a bit early with the way the roots were. It looks like its really hungry for nutrients so im gonna put its ppm up to about 900 tommorow and see how it goes =]

any chance you didn't rinse the hyrdoton pellets before use. I did this my first time and got some dicoloration in the roots on the beginning but no growth problems. after a res change or two, everything is looking great. good luck

Hi guys,

After listening to your advice and adding in another air stone, getting a stronger pump, adding a rood repair product and also finally an anti wilting additive im finally getting some healthy growth! Its taken a long time but its happening!

The top few nodes on my plant look really unhealthy compared to the rest and i think it is because my fluro's were too close to it, ive moved them about another 6 inches back, ill keep you guys updated =]
