High all,
I am having a serious problem, it effected my last crop in the spring but It wasn't as wide spread as it is now. I stopped growing for several months and have just started again.
I have several seedlings of different strains which are all of good genetic quality. Here is some information
I have 1000w lights and used cfl's the first week
temperature was over 80 and humid but I got an AC now thats not an issue
everything is in happy frog
plants are almost 2 weeks old
I only have used tap water and I let it sit out for at least one day
The problem: I thought it was heat stress the leaves on some plants curled in or downward but THE COMMON TRAIT THE PROBLEM PLANTS HAVE IS A RUBBERY FAKE TEXTURE OF THE LEAVES, SMALLER LEAVES THAN NORMAL, AND A SLOWER GROWTH RATE.
My guess is that it is something in the water since i have not fed them and I am sure the soil is good since my last crop had the same issue. The pH of the water I use is 7.0 so I don't think its a pH problem
Has anybody heard of "rubbery" leaves? I could post a pic later but not at the moment. Im going to buy fresher water for now but what do y'all think the problem is?
