  • Alright the setup is 4x 5 gallon buckets piped by 3/4" tubing. I have a 4x4 tent with an air cooled 1000W. I'm using Fox Farms Dirty Dozen mutrients and its ran by a 900lph air pump with a 6" air stone in each bucket and the 30 gal tub in and also I have a 2600lph water pump. I'm still getting a deficiency problem somehow. I'm running the pumps and fan constantly also. Actually two fans. One up top and one at canopy height. I am using Cal-Mag+ added at around 3ml per gallon because i'm using tap water with a starting PPM of 203. I forgot to add that i'm at about Week 5 Day 6.

Week 5 of what cycle? Veg? Flower?
Whats your ppm in your main res?
3ml of Cal/Mag in tap water already coming out at 203ppm seems excessive to me.
Looks to me like you are feeding too much nutrients. The burnt tips and yellowing in picture IMG_3011 are my indication of this.
Cant really help too much without more info about your setup.

Week 5 of Flower. My total PPM with all my Nutes are 1380. My full setup is a 4'x4' tent with a 1000W HPS running 12/12 kicks on at 8PM every evening. I use a 8" Hyper Fan to vent the hood and it has a 16"x6" Phresh Carbon filter that is gets pulled through before exhausting out of the tent under my house. I use a 10k in room AC outside the tent to keep the temps maintained at the most around 80 F. Two 14" oscillating fans circulating air. The nutrients I used to feed for the current week I'm in were Beastie Bloomz-1tbsp, Microbe Brew-7.5tsp, Kangaroots-10tsp, Tiger Bloom-7tbsp, Big Bloom-15tbsp, and Grow Big-7tbsp. The entire system holds around 18 Gallons of water.

I would back off on the nutrients a bit and get the ppm down.
Personally, I'd drop the Kangaroots totally after veg.
Make sure you have a decent ph of between 5.8-6.5

Now, I have to ask -is there a reason why you flowered the plants so small with so much space and head room in the tent?
Kinda seems like a waste of electricity to run a 1000W HID light, A/C, and exhaust for such small plants too?

The plan wasn't for them to be so small actually. I wanted to fill the tent with those four but was unable to, and I didn't have any more seeds or the ability to pull clones off or I would have. This will be my last grow for a bit, about to start traveling the country working so next grow things will be more set in stone and efficient. My PH stays at 5.8 I added some plain tap water to the res last night to top it back off so I think the PH is probably around 5.9 right now.

I use same line of nutes... They are LAVA hot. My last grow I used about 1/3 what they say to use per week and still burned my plant. Now I only use Open Sesame and Cha Ching. I dropped Beastie bloomz because every time I added it my plant puked. I also don't use the organics now because I'm just not sure the EC meter is reading this poop based fert correctly. Anyhow, Lesson learned... more is not better. You don't need the headaches of adding 12 bottles of crap to your plant. Its overkill and will burn your plants every time. I still use about 1/3 dose than suggested per gallon and I only feed 1x for every 2 plain ph water. Don't forget to flush every few weeks or you will get salt buildup. Good ph 6.0-6.5. You need to adjust your ph during water so its not the same every time. Below 6.2 locks out certain nutes but lets others in so you need to hit both sides. This is for soil grow.

I appreciate the input man. I will use a minimum of 1/2 less then I am. I hope it doesn't keep burning them or anything like that. What do you use from veg and seed? Still just the Open Sesame and Cha Ching once you start flowering? What about Bembe?

Im still learning myself. Im on my 4th grow and still have not made it to a legit harvest that did not look like crap. This time I at least made it to a little over 7 weeks when I just used the 3 jars of crystals at 1/3 strength. Little calmag. I think my problem was failing to flush at 4 weeks when I switched to jar 2. Then again at jar 3 and when I did finally flush at 6 weeks in it was nearly time to flush for harvest which meant 2 weeks no feed. Plant looks very sad and yellow with only a handful of green at the bottom. I don't know if mixing fertilizers in the soil without flushing was bad but it sure seemed that way.
