can any one please tell me what connection this is and how would i get it to work

I cut my connections off and fixed an old cell phone charger to it, don't remember the voltage, took maybe 2 or 3 to find one that worked.

I've done this. You only need the red and black wires, straight to phone charger. The higher the voltage the faster the fan, 3-12v but I never tried higher.

i dont know how to wire though , is it hard?

You could twist the wires together and tape them up but thats kind of ghetto. You could use any plug from any device provided it has two wires and you wire the right ones together.

Thats a fan from a computer I think. It isnt gonna be too powerful.

just cut the red and black off from the plastic part (not the fan), then strip the two wires from a phone charger and twist the red with one and the black with one. plug it in, if it doesnt work untwist them and put the red where the black was, and the black where the red was and then it should work.i just taped mine up but i dont use it..make sure you seperately tape them.

haha i wired everything in my grow myself. i mean EVERYTHING. i was cutting up old vcr cords and everything to get all the light sockets to electricity. not hard at all, just split the wire and grab your electrical tape!

I bought a fan controller for them. I have ythe hooked up to my HPS as a ghetto cooling unit

wait do i cut the two long and skinny black and white ones from the fan?

cut the aditional part coming off of the 3 wires. you only need the long red and the long black. your computer fan will have some numbers and letters on it like 12v .5amp... that means you can power it up with up to 12v. look for an old dc wall apadter that puts out 12v(it will say on the pack always) cut the wires, strip down the red and the black wire on the battery pack, tape the red to red and the black to the black after twisting them. tape them with electrical tape. bam. done. those fuckers will suck out at least 90 cfms.
