Please Help Me! I don't Know when to Transplant Outdoors

Hi everyone,

so I have some seedlings (autoflower) growing in red party cups indoors in my germinator, they have different start dates but the oldest ones are nearing 15 days of growth in the chamber and are stating on their 3rd-4th set of leaves, very small still only a couple inches.

They are growing under 2 average sized CFL and a LED panel (i know some of you don't like the LED but why not throw it in if it fits in the rubbermaid...)

There is a 4" fan exhaust, no carbon scrub because its just for germination.

These plants are already almost showing sex and are growing small leaves at the nodes.
If it helps I might be able to add a picture later but I want to know if anyone can helpp...

how long should i wait / when are my babies ready to go outside? The weather has been cold but supposed to get high of 20C and low of 10c on a steady basis in the next few days.

IS there a rule of thumb for outdoor? I am going guerrilla and cannot keep moving into pots, they have to go from party cup into 5gallon grow bags in the forest, with black earth, perlite, and fox farm ferts.

Any comments, suggestions, questions, or statements are appreciated.

some people on here keep lights on there plants into like june i think to make sure they dont flower.

i have had a plant out for a couple weeks and it is not flowering..

better safe than sorry but if u put it out right now somewhere where no shade blocks it i think it would be good but not guarantee and it makes since that some people have to keep lights near there plants because those are people who have already invested alot and dont want there shit flowering early

I think you misunderstand my post, Im wanting to know when to put outside in terms of how big they should be before transplanting, not about flowering. They are autoflowering plants and are already therefore flowering regardless of the light cycle.

I don't think there's any rule of thumb, as long as the temps aren't freezing. Your plants should be fine going outdoors now. The low temps may affect your yield, tho. What exactly is your concern about putting them outside?

my concern is that I want them to be able to survive about one week without watering, which is fine because its not hot out yet, but to make sure that they are the optimal SIZE to put them out. I also have tomatoes growing outside right now and other plants (mint, rosemary, green onions, etc) which have been getting pissed off from too much rain. Also, is it a good idea to line the bottom of your 5gallon grow bag with rocks and pebbles?
