Please help me figure what I am doing wrong.

So I have been growing this one cheese strain for a year now and I still can't get them to produce more than 2oz per plant with small buds. Its not the strain because a friend grows it with better results. Im flowering in a 8'x3'x8' tall wooden box I built with a 600w HPS and a 400w MH light. Growing in fox farms OF soil mixed with happy frog soil(50/50). I use General Hydroponics floraduo a&b nutes with added koolbloom and botanicare sweet raw. I also just flowered two Blue Dream seeds I got from SOS and they have small buds. They don't look like they will produce more than 2oz per plant either! I picked blue dream for its commercial purpose that is supposed to be a heavy yielder. What am I doing wrong?

Are you maintaining a consistent heat pattern for lights on/off? humidity being adjusted based on the phase of grow? keeping soil / rez pH correct as appropriate?

The sweet raw is just like using molasses. My humidity is a constant mid 30s and the temps with light on are 77-85f. Nighttime temps drop to about 65f.

Hmm.. Clones should get 80-95%-ish RH.. Veg should be around 65-75%-ish RH, and Flower should be 50-60%-ish RH.. some strains like a bit more or less, and these are general guidelines. Temps work as long as you don't go into mid 50s.. that'd be a problem.

The only thing I can say is that you have to mimic exactly what your friend is doing. If you can't match something like temperature, water, soil or type of lighting, and after growth his plants are still better than yours, it has to be the something you couldn't match. Good luck.

Those plants are nothing to be ashamed of. Hard to tell on first two pics because you can't see the whole plant, but third pic looks to be a fine yield. Are you sure you are letting them get to full maturity?

try to reach at least 50% of humidity, change your MH for HPS or simply change it for another 600w. buy new bulb to make sure they give the initial lumens rate. For christ sake change your General Hydroponic for advanced nutrients i reccomend you the connoiseur or G/M/B (cheap).Your crop look nice, Try to grow more plant with lower yield but with more central buds just like building in NYC.

try another Genetic.

a lot of people make the mistake of having too much fan blowing on their plants causing them to overtranspirate, resulting in lower yield. A good way to set up the oscillating fan sometimes is facing it toward the wall so the back wind cools off the canopy of the plant. also positioning the light and how you train your plant have a lot to do with your yield. with that low of humidity it wouldn't risk molding as bad when you reduce the breeze on your babies. at the same time still be careful of mold and make sure all the leaves are "wiggling"

Yes he is. Bro these plants are top quality and your either talking crap or your pulling them too early, the buds harden that much in the final 2 weeks they can add another 50% weight in the 2 week period. Let them go another 2 weeks.
