These lil Fruity Chronic Juice clones seem like they are just struggling... I wish i could get some of that beginners luck that almost everyone else has... fml... Anyways, as you see its an ebb and flow bucket system. Using Gen Hydro Flroa Series, Lucas formula as of this last res change. Also added what was left of my Rapid Start. i did 3ml micro and 6ml bloom and 1ml rapid, all per gallon. Also 1ml per of H202. the res it at about 500 ppm, ph 5.8-6.0. Get fed 3 times per day, 15 mins at a time. 5 gallon buckets. 12" walmart light blue airstone in res. Res temp 70-72F. 400w Hortilux MH, phantom ballast. 5x5 tent. Air temps 75-78. RH about 60%. 4 inch fan pullin air thru the light and exahsting it outside. 2 12" oscilating fans in tent.

I just thought this hydro shit was supposed to have great growth... it seems stunted and just taking forever.. Its about just over 2 weeks of veg right now.. Most of them have those distorted leaves, and discolored ones too... I just need, for once, something to work out good... Please if you have any knowledge on my issue, give me a shout. Thank you

Oh,and I never did anything to "innoculate" them when transplanting from clone machine into the buckets.. maily because i dont understand what it means and dont know what to use. So if someone could either point me in the right direction or explain it to me that would be awesome!!!! THANKS! bongsmilie

Ok,,,I've looked at all the pics and I'll say that your NEW growth looks fine!
The early growth looks like the pH of the cloner in combo with a low CalMag or slightly high nute ratio for cuttings is what did the deed to that. I do see some heat stress in the early growth too....BUT again, The NEW GROWTH looks FINE!.....If you use a calmag product, , , GREAT, , , if not,,START now. Cut the strength of your nute solution in the cloner by 50%(If you use nutes in there) and ALWAYS keep your pH between 5.8 and 6.2 and you shall succeed in grand fashion....They are in fine shape.

Ok,,as to why they seem "slow".....They are "setting" their roots in their new environment....Just be patient and when they catch up,,,,the girls will take off with them!!!!

My hats off to you on your home built "controller"...Nice way to save $.

Your good to go and your luck's running fine dude....

Grow on

no, you have a ph problem, lower ph with ph down or a home recipie of one shot of orange jucie per gallon a plant, also a little more calcium

Didn't I just say that,,,only better??? And you DO NOT have a pH problem NOW....It's on the "early" growth from in the cloner.....Your NEW growth looks fine!
Keep pH twixt 5.8 and 6.2 and add a calmag product if you don't already...and your golden!!!

Oh yeah , , "innoculate"
I am guessing that you mean dipping your rooted cutting in a bath of mixed pyrethrin or Green cure or bolth. If I'm doing my own cuttings then I just do the Green Cure,,,,this is to help prevent Powdery Mildew....The "thrin" is to kill any bugs...unless you HAVE a bug problem I wouldn't do that one because it won't last as a preventative.

Ok, see that was my thought too was that the new growth did look pretty good, but i just wanted another set of eyes to tell me. THANKS for both of ur tips on this.

And yes I'm using CaliMagic. What i've been doing tho is using RO water which comes out at 7ppm adding CaliMagic till i hit about 75ppm. Think is should have more? oops,, I just scrolled up and realized i forgot to say i add the calmag.

From "what i read" about lucas formula was that it has "enough" cal mag in that concentration of a 2:1 (bloom, micro) that you dont need it... But, i still felt i wanted to add some.

And in the cloner, i just used my plain well water, no ph'ing. and had it spray 2 times a day 4 mins at a time. There's about 6-7 gallons in that res, and i put 3ml h2o2 and 3ml rapid start in there with it. MY REASONING for running it that way is cuz i put my clones in RW, which ill never do again.. not in a cloner at least. only that small amount of time really just always had the RW wetter than i would want it. Some of the most "promising looking" clones just rotted in that shit... Next time im just sticking the cutting in there by itself and having the sprayer run 24/7. Heres a couple pics. Made this too. I can give you links to the control bucket and the cloner if you want too! just lemme know. both are WAY EASY dude. And the control bucket was 200 bucks for the controller and switches, pre wired. Got a menards bucket, and i got perfect instructions on holes to drill after a shit load of trial and error :) lol

CALiMAGic,,,nice.....5ml per gallon in RO.......Just be sure to pH the water for the cloner and you'll be golden their too.
I too have built my own "controllers". Got the hardware in "kit" form too. Cost like 150 per.....discounted for how many I got.

Oh, yeah......I've been called worse....did not intend to offend.
