Please help a new grower

Hey guys plant is doing much better. I potted up and bought some decent fertilizers also did a epsom salt foliar spray. Will post pics tomorrow
Thanks for all the advice She was just hungry
That's great news! I am so glad she is feeling better. Been foliar feeding mine cal-mag because she is needing calcium do to over watering. Seems like the soil is almost dry. I have been raking the topsoil a lot so it will dry faster. Think I am going to get something for the roots tomorrow. Just not sure if I should get something like Earth Juice Bio Righteous or Bio Earth Zeus.
Has anyone used either of these? How about Earth Juice Rooters Mycorrhizae? Just wondering because I want to make sure I don't get root rot after the over watering incident.

Well the girlfriend took the camera to a graduation so unfortunately I have to wait untill tomorrow to do another photo opp. Yea I probably am over loving her. It is all because I used cheap soil that hold the moister like crazy. I mean she looks great. I will upload pics tomorrow to show you. I have just been having trouble with the new tops being really yellow. I foliar feed her some cal mag and it gets better in a couple hours.
I have added some to the soil and had to add some organic dolomite lime as well for PH. The lime has calcium and magnesium but, she is just not taking it up. I did only give her about half the recommended dose for both since they both contain calcium and magnesium. Didn't want her to burn. This all started because I missed a feeding and she got cranky.
Sorry for the entire story. Just thought a little background info would help. I used miracle grow organic mixed with old used soil and a bunch of perlite.
Learned my lesson with shitty soil that is lacking in many ways. BTW I am down to 1 plant now because this morning my other one spit out some balls. (rooster in the hen house) lol.
I know this one is female because she has had a calyx for about a week now and is now showing more and spitting out little hairs. I have not started flowering yet so wow I thought. Pretty cool that she showed sex at just 5 weeks. I thought it took at least 6 weeks for them to be mature enough.
Anyways I built a scrog roughly 18" by 22" that is half filled with her so I am not sad about having only one left.

normally a grower can just compensate for shit soil. would realy like to see the pics.. yellowing from top down is new to me

Here is an older picture taken a week ago when I tried to flush water through her. BTW didn't work even after 3 gallons it barley ran through. I have not watered since and the soil is still pretty moist. And yes she had a little heat stress too but, that is better now.

I am trying compensate for this crappy soil. I just should have done more homework and got the proper nutrients and stuff. I have worked for a grower in the past however, the soil mix we used was all organic and made from scratch. I would do the same but, it cost so much to make the soil he was putting together.
Those plant were like taller than me. So I am not really use to have such little plants either. I use to have to water those plants every day. Of course my main job was taking care of the flower rooms. Anyways before that I only did hydro.

I brought my plant indoors for 36 hours to start the flowering phase. I've been doing 12/12 light for two days now. The newer leaves are getting a little better but some are still browning. This is my first plant ever. It's outdoors I keep it shaded sometimes due to high heat outside. I use regular water to water it. And am using miracle grow moisture control. Could it be from foreign debris on the leaves from being in my closet for 36 hours? Or heat stress? Anyone please? Also should I remove the dying leaves or let nature work it's magic ?View attachment 3951707 View attachment 3951709 View attachment 3951713
Hello there looks like it has way too much phosphorus and needs nitrogen. You should try a soil test kit they have them at Amazon for $7 or your local Walmart might have one mine has them.Test your npk and soil pH that will tell you a lot. Make sure you use distilled water when you test your soil pH. You can always go the other route and repot that plant with decent soil don't use Miracle Gro. But you might be okay if you simply test your soil and make an adjustment. Either way that plant is too small and fragile to try to put into flower. I would keep it inside and switch it back over to veg and get your soil right until it recovers.

Best thing to do for your roots now..Kelp extract - 5 ml a gallon

Kelp has micro's, B vit's, Amino acids and Fulvic Acids (Humic is in the Fulvic chain).

Several college studies show the use of Kelp in any form to increase root growth by as much as 173%.
It's use will also supply the things missing in your plant and that soil.

Well thanks for the advice Dr. Who. I was wondering if that would kelp. I read somewhere that you can foliar feed the kelp to them. She is starting to dry up a bit now but, sat in wet for about 4 to 5 days. So that is why I am so worried.
Well I well have to grab some kelp then. I have heard that kelp has a lot of those enzymes that are in some of the other products. I like the idea of being fully organic so kelp sounds like the best option so far.
I planned on flowering in the next week or two depending on how this goes. Don't want to flower if she is having trouble though.
Oh BTW I love Dr. Who. seen every episode more than twice to include the old original version when I was a boy. Time for a rosin dab yum!
Thanks again, I will let everyone know how things go.
Peace

Just saying, with happy frog & ocean as options why would anyone use miracle grow? That's the first thing I was told to stay away from. Even when I read up from seasoned growers the advice was always ..... stay clear of that crappy ass soil. Someone's in their feelings over this I see lol.
It's even something you learn in high school. Lol don't use miracle grow

Here is another plant.....this one is my baby
.....

Im transplanting into MG tonight....the plant is so dry that should help.....
No ferts just using the water out of the back of my toilet because of the calcium!
With the new MG soil shes going to grow 112 ounces.....a decent harvest i think.

Some tips what fertalizer should i use besides the toilet water?

Made sure to shock her with temps of 100 degrees right before flower.

And i defoiled all the leaves except 7 leaves on each plant.....
I think that covers everything.

Need your help bottom boys!
