Please give me some Grandaddy Purple advice.

I am doing 17(I Know odd number thinking about cutting down to 12 healthiest) 1 1/2 week old GDP. I have them in 3-4gal roots organics potting soil vegging under 750w HPS(600w before today).I have been attempting to lst these girls and have fed them purely organic nutrients(humboldt nutrients:Verde and Earth Juice Grow). I have seen this GDP strain grown to 5ft tall and the extra veg wasn't really worth it so this time im going to try lst to keep the canopy and veg time low and the yields high. I plan on letting them veg a couple weeks to get a full canopy Then I'll bump wattage up to 1000 and bud for 8-10 weeks. Let me hear any advice you've got for me..preferably GDP specific..

hey; happen to know a little about GDP; my friend's been growing one recently. its really robust and in its 6 week of indoor.

i got 4 going under 1000w hps they are 4 weeks in and looking good.. i flowerd them from lil babies maybe 4 inches tall

Smoked it wish I had some seeds to grow it!!
