So I recently switched to coco and perlite, on someone's advice! It's going way better than it was.... So can anyone that knows about coco tell me how to water it? I've seen so many different things... Let it dry out, don't let it dry out and let it dry only a little... Any advice would be appreciated! Oh, and one more thing! These are 2 different plants! One was originally in soil and obviously leggy and the other, is straight grown in coco.... Are they both leggy, or am I worrying to much? Cus while it's long like the other, it's much thicker and looks healthy! Please help! Sorry for the awful pictures!

I start in solo cups with a 70/30 coco/perlite mix. I start feeding to run off around 3-4 days from sprout and every day thereafter.
Never use plain water and never let the coco dry.
The one in the cup is definitely stretched.........lower your light to prevent stretch and put more coco in it to support the stem.
Roots don't like light........place the clear cup in another cup that's not transparent.
Feeding the one in the large pot will be a challenge........that's why it's best to start in solo cups and transplant.

Ok thank you I didn't think about the roots getting light, thank you! Also I wasn't sure if you should start them in small pots before! Because everyone and everything told me to start auto flowers in the final pot! Thank you for setting me straight! Doesn't do a darn but of good now, but will be helpful later! Also I can't get the light much closer without burning them... Any ideas for someone as clueless as me on that? Idk if it's important or not but I already put 2 lights on it, to try to avoid that already! I'm sorry I know nothing!
