Please advice

When do you think I should add nutrients to the plant? I have a bottle of Miracle Gro - pour&feed. My soil is a Houseplant compost. They are saying that this compost contains sufficient nutrients to sustain healthy plant grow for up to 8 weeks after potting depending on the type of houseplant. I don't want to rush into adding nutrients cause I am afraid not to harm the roots. I bought a pH tester, the one with the liquid and the plastic small bottle. I tested the soil yesterday, but no change in the color. From the legend I could understand that the soil is Ok (?), has a pH between 7 and 8. The soil has some round white small spheres, I guess thous are the nutrients. Please advice.

PS since the change in the light, the baby looks much happier. I'll post some pics soon.
Thanks

Thank you all for the advices, really appreciated! Overall I am pleased with the baby now...only thing I am concerned is the fact that the steam at the exit from the ground is still thin. I would love to somehow make it a bit stronger...I'll put soon some new pics

100% true.
With CFL's, as the (actual) wattage increases, the efficiency decreases.

Example:
The 23w ones are the most efficient I've found so far, at +/- 1600 lumens each.
The 45w ones are +/- 2600 lumens each. And so on.
So for roughly the same wattage, you'd get 3200 lumens by using 2 of the 23w ones.
Hi,

Been asking this question for a while, do you have anymore data to suggest why a 200W would not outperform 10-23's?. The obvious is we place 10 bulbs as opposed to one in proximity to plants...but does this actually tell us that wattage is not as advertised?.

As I was saying in the previous posts, now I have 2x 35 CFL's DL 6400K each for one baby. Is this enough? I mean, after changing the lights from what I had and now...it's a huge difference. The plant looks much healthier and it's doing fine in the cabin shower. I am keeping the lights at about 2-3` distance from the tips, but sometimes the leafs are tending to follow the light. I'll be back today with some new pics.
One other thing. My pot size is about 17 cm high and 18 cm the upper base. Will it be enough for it to grow?
My plant looks healthier now and all thanks to you guys and your advices!

Had some problems...as I told you, at a point I decided that the best place to grow it would be in my spare bathroom, in a cabin shower. But...I noticed some things. When I watered it, the pot was retaining to much water, and no evaporation, and the plant started to behave like it was overwatered. Plus some nasty little flies were getting high near my baby ( such a bad influence :) ) I've started the fan in there, the heat, but still the soil (last watered Friday morning) was moist as a hell. So...decided to move the pot again. It's good that I have a spare room with a spare wardrobe with white walls inside. So...hanged the lights in there, opened the hit at the radiators and...hope for the best.

Now I am waiting also for the "Y" shape splitter to come.

regarding the small flies...still there, not too many...I am thinking to make a pepper spray out of some chilly peppers and spray on the soil. I red on some topics that might work. Any proof thou that pepper spray is doing harm to the plant?

yep, I have gnats. I've tried the pepper spray, with no luck. Now I am giving them wine...hopefully they'll drown. Tomorrow I'll go to search some poison at the local B&Q. Otherwise the plant looks fine/healthy. And I am waiting next week for the Y splitter. At the moment I am in 2x 35 DL and with next week I'll be in 4
