Hey guys, I'm shopping for a tent that can house 2000w, cooling isn't an issue. I'm also looking for input on extruder fans and carbon filters. The tent will be placed on a concrete surface in an exterior building and will be used for DWC 5 gal buckets. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Here's what I found so far..had to screenshot it, the link for detail is below

Try using caulk or duct tape?
My husband will be permanently sealing the leaks in a few weeks, but the plant's are ready to flower yesterday... price isn't the problem, and a tent is an easy light-leak proof solution.

Repairs would probably be cheaper than a tent for now, right? Especially one capable of withstanding heat from 2000w over time?
price isn't the problem, immediate accessibility is. neighbors here are nosy, and we want to make absolutely sure this is not visible to anyone else. we have already completely insulated the shop, but there are three small leaks at the roll-up door, one of the walls, and the whole-building extractor fan. we also have a temporary spider problem we plan to have fixed by the end of this weekend.

How are you going to control heat during the summer with 2kw in a building with light leaks? Panda film the room?

the building has a 7500cfm extractor fan for rafter heat, and we are installing a 5000btu space ac (built in window unit) on the lawn mower shed side. the entire building is insulated, including the roof. last year it was 77f in there when it was 103f outside, without using the extractor. we have been planning to do this for a while, but just recently decided shed over unused bedroom.

Thanks so much for your help and comments! :D

Use cooltubes or cooled reflectors with those 1kw lights. You shouldn't have a problem. Tents make things nice and easy.
We are going to start with 1k in a pyrex cool-tube, but will be upgrading to mounted air-cooled hoods. the 2k is for later, we are going to start with 4 plants under a 1kw hps in a cool tube.

I'm not a tent guy and grow in shed which does creat a few obstacles like neighbors as you said. I would think for $200 you are golden for the tent, my shed has conservatively used up $2000 with all in lol. It's worse than the house for being a money pit lol. Still haven't upgraded the power, waiting for the for the ground to thaw and run 60 amp 230 sub panel. Good luck!

How about stopping by your local harbor freight, or similar, and getting some cheap tarps. And, then stop by lowes and get a cheap bucket of flat black and roll that onto one side of the tarp/s. Then perhaps some cheap PVC frames to drape them over. Or you could cut out a few squares of tarp / pvc lining and staple gun it over the leaks. For the front door a long , to length, piece of wood such as a 2x4 might help block the light leaking out the door when place right up next to it on the inside. It should act as a light trap. Just ideas. How much do tents like that cost? If money is no factor like you said then ...yes get a tent for a temporary solution. You must have a hella AC in this area?

Not sure if it was answered already but 1000 watt IMO is good for a 5x5 space, so if a tent is 5x10 it should be good for 2. Each light will put out about 3400 BTU's so you may want to up the size of the AC to handle extra environmental heat loads and other equipment. Here is a link about fan sizing, not sure it is what you want but it may help... http://growershouse.com/blog/what-cfm-fan-do-you-need/

***Edit*** Height of the tent could be issues with tall plants.... forget to mention, but you probably already knew that...plus the tent you showed looked ok size wise, except maybe height..
