I made a cookie!!!! A buddy brought over a fresh blast of freshly harvested nugs and trim for me to purge. Turned it into a cookie overnight ;) will start writing out the details to post up here in a few.

So my buddy said he'd take some pictures of the cookie today so I can post them up here tonight.

So yes I was very surprised by how fast it did it also. When he brought it over it had just been pyrex pan purged for a bit, then scraped up. A little bit of it auto buddered before he even brought it over. So I throw the chunk into the vac and went about trying to get the no heat muffin. Very little happened... warmed up the chunk to about 80. Now got it to puff up. Vac and revaced 3 times and the last time it looked like a stable muffin so I said what the hell and just left it. Made sure the oil wouldn't go over 130 while I was sleeping and just let it go. Woke up to a cookie! Super stable, wonderful smell. Light golden yellow color.

Smoke report and pictures this evening.

was that done in a dish? I think thats the best choice for wax is not doing it on parchment paper.. but doing it in a dish style set up ;)

It was done on pp with an oil slick covering the sides of the jar to stop losing it that way.

and thanks vacpurge ;) gleened a ton of info off you, twitch, guzias, fade (of course). couldn't have done it without you guys :)

I got tons of mine from guzias and twitch lol so put my share of thanks towards them LOL.

I just enjoy teaching... helps ME remember. kinda a selfish thing, but then again its not ;)

Oh I know ;) I have read all the big threads front to back. Guzias thread is def a bible of mine :) So I got to follow along in your frustrations in there. So ya thank you too vacpurge :) Expect mucho pics as soon as the camera is back in my oil covered hands.
