Platinium Series 100 setup question

I was looking at this system and wanted to know your thoughts on this. I like the idea of clean and simple. However the space looks rather close for sog style. Maybe reduce plant number?

Currently I am growing in an ebb & flo setup if it matters, cyco nutes w/chiller.
I'm working on custom cob panel, I haven't finalized the design because I am thinking of switching grow method.

That looks like plant disease or bugs waiting to happen. That looks cool for herbs you are going to be using in the kitchen in my opinion. But not for an entire grow. A waste of seeds. But don't give up on it because of my cynicism.
