Plastic or Fiber Pots

I was considering Plastic and putting them in catch Pans because they are easier for me to move but I think I will go with Fiber because I can see run off better.

Plus as I understand Fiber lets more air to the roots.

Just wondering your thoughts?

plastic pot in drip tray/pan. easy to see run-off.
fabric pots evaporate off too much for me. harder to control humidity in the grow space.

I use both. When I'm running the blumats with coco I use fabric pots. When I'm hand watering in soil I typically use plastic pots.

I am surprised there isnt a comparison thread on here.
I have grown plenty of healthy plants in plastic pots, but for some reason moved to fabric. I can honestly say that i have not noticed a difference in final numbers.
It is really annoying to try to water an overly dry fabric pot, when the water keeps draining out the sides and never makes it to the bottom... equally annoying is how fast they dry out

OK I have many of both. Plastic
for me is easier to move. I have 5 gallon plastic buckets with Oil Change Pans to catch but it doesn't hurt getting some drain through on the bottom of my Tent just figure it would be cleaner.

The Buckets have Drain Holes on the bottom but I'll have my Son drill some on the side towards the bottom.

Need to get my head out of my backside and grow.

I've garden all my life in rock pile called the Ozark Mountains and done well.

Know several growing Weed in the brush and doing well.

This can't be as hard as I'm making it.
With the accessibility of products and all the BS marketing it gets overwhelming sifting through the info. I'm grateful I learned pre internet with whatever I could recycle and great books filled with bro science. I think most people have problems overdoing it.

You ever try placing the fabric bag in a bucket when you water so the runoff can wick up into soil?
