Plastic grow bags as pots

I know grow bags like smart pots work amazing and are pretty cheap but while looking for other cheap pots I found these.
They basically look like pre-cut and shaped garbage bags.
Plastic grow bags
Anyone have any luck with these? I mean for 25 cents a piece its unbeatable.

I have used them. they were even cheaper by the bundle. they work good and store great but if you move your plants around a lot, like to water, they can be problematic.

get those new re usable bags the sell at grocerie stores now, or at wal mart. You know the ones you use so you are not impacting the environment by using plastic and paper?
They are cheap and work like air pots, if you are on a budget.

They are great. They are cheap and do the job. But if you need to move your plants they can tear if your not careful. I actually used them outside for my vegetables this year and they worked great especially with automatic drip irrigation. Ive also used them many times indoors to grow weed.

Thanks for the help. I would use the re-usable bags from the grocery store but they are too big. I picked up some of those plastic grow bags at one of the local hydro stores and they were like 16 cents a piece for the 2 gallon ones.

I just got into grow bags and so far I like them. They take up less room then pots and they have holes on the bottom so air can get to the roots. Check HTG's site. You can get 10 of any size bag free, just pay shipping. I ordered 1 gal, 3 gal, and 5 gal for like 17 bucks.

that's not bad, the place by my house had the 2gallon bags for like 16 cents a piece for something. Just transplanted into them which was definitely harder than transplanting into standard pots but we will how they hold up. Unfortunately I do have to move my plants to water them. But yea for the price I definitely like them so far. I mean there was no way I was getting 8 standard pots in the space I fit my babies.
