Plastic film for hoop house?

Ok I want to build a hoop house to hide my plants a bit better. But I don't know if the film will cause my plants to grow different or cause them to stretch. I grow autos so every little bit counts. I can't got full clear since that would defeat the purpose...just a bit of cloudy will work but not sure if it will change growth. I found 2ml sheeting for $3 9x12 ft...

If you build a greenhouse you will also have to address the heat and stagnant air that is generated by it. If you dont, then yes your plants will absolutely grow different than they do in full sun.

What if I used burlap and build IL like a hoop over my enclosure

6 mil sheeting is pretty opague. You can go online to farm tech and go to their bargin been too.

get greenhouse film because plants need the right light spectrum and some of the plastic sheeting they use stuff to make it opaque that blocks the light plants need plus it stinks and is made in China.

How can I build a build a greenhouse type thing in the woods? I'm not in a legal state. If that helps lol

So don't use the burlap? I don't need the greenhouse effects just the coverage...

If you're trying to hide this in the woods I'd go with something other than plastic. That reflection is going to make people curious. I also wouldn't use burlap. It'll block to much light.

You can get this stuff in different colors it will let in sun and from a distance it would help camo the plants, get creative with some paint or dye. https://www.fabric.com/find?SearchText=netting

I found a beige netting on that page. Maybe a few layers of that or a layer of that and a layer of black or green?

I'd rethink k this:

you need to camouflage the plants but need light to grow ..?

put similar plants as weed in with your grow

pilot plant is one, also anything that conceals and is good at ridding bugs

like geraniums etc

or save cash and put ur autos in the near greenhouse..?

A little off topic but your question reminded me about these light spectrum altering screens that supposedly enhance different growth characteristics depending on the color. Kind of along the lines of your burlap sack idea but with added function. I havent seen anyone that uses them for cannabis though.
