i called 3 times yesterday and no ring or anything just a busy signal then a recording saying this number is no longer in service. but i just called the same number and they are there but they did shut down and move locations. they were evicted. so im half right and half wrong.

puff last feb 25 every single club in the state received cease decist orders by the d.a. of every county. that was in the register and la times and on the old first page of this site too.. then 5 days later a club from lake forest won in appeals court in santa ana court. That judge said that clubs can only sell what is grown on premises. but no local law is checking on that. if the feds come in its all federal

shortly after that another judge banned all dispensaries. but it turned out that judge didn't have that power and another judge superceeded that female judge. in san jose and fresno for a short time there were no clubs but i guess recently they reopened. there still no clubs in humby or del norte or fresno

puff you attack me constantly so get off my nuts . i bet you are one of those guys that hate on your friends when they do anything better than you .

p.s i dont twitter at all. its lame. if i want to get overcharged by a dispensary ill use weedmaps to find one. otherwise i smoke my own

Sorry brother. If I had known you couldn't take being corrected, I would have kept to myself. I only wanted to get the information straight. Didn't know you were so sensitive. Lesson learned. Continue on sir.

What numbers would I be looking for that makes it ideal for the plants?
Anyone have any pictures of their in use?
what about a video and some pics? ;-)

That's a good reference, please take a good look at those PAR readings he did. Now what can we learn from that?

You will see that the light is very directional and has a peak intensity in the middle. Even at 18" (which imho is the maximum distance you should use with a single fixture: center PAR is 1000 umol m-2 s-1) about 2 ft diagonal away from the center (in the 3'x3' block), in the corner, the light level is is low as 85 umol m-2 s-1, that is only 8% of the center value! You need to hang these fixtures close, to create overlap. 19" with 3 ft spacing (center center) would probably do the job, not further than 2 ft from the wall would get you about 1000 umol m-2 s-1 in the enter just not at the long sides (which should be no more than 1,5' away from the center of the fixture. So the average would be lower on this 2x2' space, I estimate about 900 - 1000 umol average as you get a good deal of light back from the reflecting walls (which should be used to confine the area). This is a very rough estimate based on the average PAR measurements as I see on the referred page. You would basically need 4 to get a reasonable uniformity too, as these are almost square field reflectors. So the surface you would be able to light with about average 900 umol is, based on my very rough estimate, 3x3 ft (based on overlapping reflectors!)

Is this bad? Well, if you look at uniformity it is not a real problem when you use several fixtures. Bad uniformity you will see with most single fixtures. You will need to overlap and high intensity is mostly achieved with very short distances with these type of fixtures. The levels can go up really fast if you use these fixtures at close distance.

You need to take into consideration that the 1000 umol we recommend is not something that all growers use at this moment. I measured on location more like 500-700 umol m-2 s-1. But you need to be realistic about how much you can light with it.

A PAR meter is a GREAT investment.

Nice thanks for everyone's input.
I have the plasma a little less then 2' so I'll lower it to 1.5'
I have the LEDs same height, also planning on lowering them.
Also I have the LEDs tilted, what are people thoughts or experiences on tilting LEDs?
Ill post some pics ASAP.

Super bushy, since I already started flower I don't want to stunt her by cleaning her up, what you guys think, let her be natural and bushy? Or trim? And I'm talking about the gsc ha

Yo whazzup, or anyone that may know the awnser,
Ive read in another forum that plasma has the ability to kill fungus? Is this true? Not sure where I read this, but if this is true, that's fucking amazing!!!!

^^^^ talk about beautiful................wow.......awesome garden FFH!!!!!! + rep........... id let the GSC go all natural, looking sweet

No UV-c kills fungus which is what the special glass filters out and allows UVa-b to pass.............unless i'm wrong again:P

LEP generates UVC, but indeed that is blocked by the glass filter. However, you have UVB and UVA. And though that is not fungicidal it does harden the leafs and make them less perceptible of a fungus infection. For UVC to be fungicidal it needs to be a specific wavelength and a very low specific amount, and it only kills the stage between spore and fungus. If you would add more you would kill the plant too. Science is fun isn't it :).

Flowery Field uses both our plasma lights and the cleanlight. Together that is a good team I would say. Some have asked why we would not let some UVC through, if it has beneficial effects. We can't, as we would not know how close or how long you would use the lamp, it could be dangerous for the eyes and we would not only emit this one specific germicidal wavelength. Cleanlight has a patent on its invention, a sort of Wageningen University spin-offs. Their hand units are for sale in the US as well.

Search cleanlight on youtube, lots of information and demos there.

your plants are SOOO healthy looking
thanks homie,
i actually been meaning to post how i got into super soil, and truthfully u have alot too do with my decison.
i kinda always knew about super soil, but never really thought about doing it, and after doing years of research, (especially your threads and post) i decided to switch.
plus some of the dankest herb i ever seen and smoked was super soil grown!
i find myself in my garden a lot less due to the simplicity of SUPER SOIL!
it makes sense too as far as organic goes, its all in the soil, amend the soil, and the biology will take care of the rest.
thanks endorux

Mr I Can Do That For Half
In the pics do you turn the plasma light off and just the leds on? just curious as It doesnt look like any bright light from the plasma during pics like it would be from an hps light. Been watching the plasmas coming around just havent got one yet.

good question, i believe each led is slightly stronger and brighter compared to the plasma (at least to the human eye), so both of these leds easly over power the plasma alone. plus i believe the way i set up the leds give them a much larger light foot print.
left sie of the plant under 357 watts of led
DSC00172.jpg

right in the middle of the gsc is the plasma light foot print, around 300 watts
DSC00174.jpgDSC00169.jpg
right side of the plant under 357 watts

ill take some pics of what the plasma can do by itself.

love the investment thus far, well worth it
