hi ive just started to grow my first plants theyve grow about 100 mm but still av not grown any steams from the side theve been grown for a week and a half can anybody help thnks

not got any pic ive sat them under just a norm lamp to start with im wating on a hp sodium lamp coming throw the plants ar could big bang ,they have 4 leaves at the top of the stem and thats it ,was wondering how long it takes to start to grow steams and leaves

Wow that is a very stretched seedling; you need to get the light as close as possible. Right now it's stretching toward the light which is not good.

A daylight bulb will put out the same spectrum as the sun in the summer. A hps light puts out the spectrum as the sun in the fall. When you have a cfl bulb in your house, see how the light shines yellow on the walls, now put in a daylight bulb and see how the walls are bright.
