Plants vs. Rain

This is practically my first time growing. I have four plants. two which are about 3-4 feet tall, another that is MUCH bushier and about 2 feet tall, and a little baby. I live in a place where we get changing weather out the a$$. its summer now but we get the ocassional rain maybe once a week. How would this effect the plants growth, buds, moldy buds?, etc.? Because i would really like to leave them out side 24/7 rain or shine to get as much light as they can.

moving them inside isnt an option. I wouldnt be asking if it was lol.

also, i didnt bother, but if pics are needed i can easily take some.

thanks.

whats your question? if you get too much or too little rain, and what to do about it? id say you should keep an eye on the weather and go out and water if it hasnt rained in like 4 days. i dont see why your worried about mold

Outside the wind and sun helps strengthen the plant and dry it after rain storms to prevent mold, anyway marijuana's been growing here outdoors since before the human race.

Ya i know.. its a plant, it grows outside with rain and big bad wolves and all that haha. but its my first time and i just didnt want to see my plants torn to pieces or snapped in half cuz of rain or some winds.

and as far as the mold goes i didnt know if the rain would effect the buds, as far as maybe leaving them constantly wet (which i wouldnt think would happen due to the sun) but im tryin to think of everything just so i can be safe and not sorry.

thanks tho that helps, its much nicer to sleep in than to get up at 5AM in the morning to get my plants out in the sun.

man some strains/plants cope better than others youll just have to see really.

i said this just before to nother guy actually but in some places you cn actually grow in winter so yeah. growing when rain is concerned is just something youll have to figure out for yourself to fully understand it.

ill give you one big hint though.

for most plants the worst thing about the rain is actually not so much as the rain itself but the humidity and when water is allowed to sit on the bids in clusters festering sort of thing. this makes mold and things of the sort hard to avoid.

what does this mean if it rains and then gets hot make sure the plant dries out well. as fast as possible if you can do anything to help it. you dont want that water to stay on there. i give bigger plants a little shake.

they dont mind it the air flow is good for them as they dry... helps avoid mold and id preffer them to get a little stressed than get crappy black hard spots all over ma ganja..

the rest ya gotta figure out for yaself. no offense but im a bit over this lol.

its not hrd bro im sure youll figure it out

peace out

problem solved then. ill just remember to give them a good shake after rain and make sure they dry out well enough.

thanks for the help.
