Plants starting to bud... smells like ginger?

Hi. I've got 3 pants budding and they smell like ginger. Is this just a natural fragrance or potentially some sort of warning sign?

Lol its probably fine
Every plant smells alittle different

Mine usually smell like cheese or stinky feet when you're right up on them. Idk how to describe it.

If it smells like wet towels, or mildew, that's a problem.

I have one that is a great citric smell, lots of great fragrances it seems.

I have a cross that smells strongly of mint.
