Plants smaller than anticipated

Easy Ryder from lowryder. Cheers and good luck with yours too
I'm wondering if there is a big difference between lowryder's and Joint Dr's EasyRyder strain..So far, because of inconsistent reviews I'm guessing probably so....Hopefully potency and yield are common denominators.

Hey OP,

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but you might get an 7g, maybe, off of those plants man. Autos need a lot of light, early.

No worries, first grow and ive got some bagseed that havent started flowering yet so i should be set. The easy ryders have some fat caylxes and are grtting covered in trichs, theyve still got 3 weeks left so i should get something, not much but ill be happy

I have several easyryder grows down. Each time they looked a little sickly right before harvest, but they were perfectly capable of reaching maturity. Inside under the lights, mine were thick and bushy with a total hight of maybe 12" or so? Outside, in slightly less than ideal conditons, they are slightly thinner and a little shorter. We have had clouds and rain followed by brutal heat and humidity all summer. I just had to harvest one early and it made some nice iso hash. I have another that will probably make it to harvest. I don't weigh, but my last grow probably filled two small mason jars with cured bud. It's stong enough that a casual smoker can stay away from dealers forever with just a few small grows per year. I don't even know a dealer anymore. I use cheap MG nutes and generic potting soil from a local gardening place. Besides my original grow, my seeds are all from an earlier grow that slightly hermed on me. Every single resulting seed has been female. I don't know if that's the result of herm or if I was just lucky that way. My only complaint is that none of the other plants hermed, so I will now have to order more seeds when I want to grow again.

Time to go back to lurk mode. I was just on here using the search to answer a few questions and thought I would pay back the forum with a few posts.

It's a great strain for what both of us are using it for.

Cheers for the post buddy, never even thought about making hash :O might make some if i get poor results and just smoke it along with the bud ive already got. Thanks for telling me about your soil too - i just bought some really cheap compost that was VERY airy, kind of wish i bought the other but they look happy and healthy now, just wish they were like this from start :D all in all ive got some experience now for the next grow which hopefully will be better, (well, definitely) and then i plan on planting alot more seeds.

Thanks for your input man :)

im also on my first grow ever and also easy ryder, i germinated them inside but moved them straight into pots when they was germinated, id be interested as to how you get on with your grow! btw did you have any problems with germinating, like because i germinated 3 to start two worked lovely then one had only jus split the sheel at the same time the others were not far off an inch long, also ive started germinating two more but one of thm hasnt split atall and is rather a big seed, can you shed any light?

Sup man, yeah i got 3 easy ryder seeds and only 2 germd. What method are you using? i used the paper towel method but have since started using a different method and my seeds have germed literally 3x as fast. I use the below method having the bottle stood upright, (obviously so no water escapes) and once the tap root shows or the seeds sink, i place them into a paper towel, let the root develop so it doesnt rot in the water) and once its ready, pot it. The seeds that float havnt absorbed enough water, ones that sink have, however stir every 5 hours or so with a stick or some shit because there might be an air bubble. Good luck man.

well i had a browse about and i see where you put them into a tumbler glass and wait for them to sink but eveyrwhere else i looked was the wet paper towel and i thought better to be safe than sorry!
