By branchier or bushier I mean a higher number of nodes per sq.ft OR a shorter distance between internodes. Without question this would be Indica. All the Sativas I grow or have ever grown have a longer spacing between the internodes giving them more of a christmas tree look than a bushy shrub look like the Indicas.
 
Yeah when I grew my indica there was alot more branching then a 15 foot sativa I had outdoors, but mainly because I cut the growth tips, now i'm not sure if its the same way letting em grow natural when it comes to branching, so who knows.
 
generally speaking indicas are shorter and bushier but i have seen some(like 2) sativa strains that were just as bushy and short. so you can technically both be right...ya the dicks on this forum really bring it down :/
 
Its person preference I guess. I like to have 4 sq ft per plant. I also start vegging the next rotation 2 weeks into flowering. I don't like my plants to intertwine with each other as there growing. I see it as blocking the sun. although its directly under the light and where its the most intense and the best penetration. I have to believe that I can yield more per plant when they have the room and lights not blocked by other plants, but on the same note more plants might be more yield over all. As to whats better I believe is personal preference.... I grow only for quality and self satisfaction. 4x4 flower room and 4x4 veg room equals free weed LOL As well as always on demand.
 
indicas are shorter, bushier. sativas are taller, lankier.

thats all you can say, in my experience indicas are more leafy. But prob not always true, their usually about the same leaf to bud site ratio.

to the guy who says micro/cabs are a waste, look on NORML for your state. in my state, a micro grow of one small plant isnt even a felony. so it would make sense if someone wanted to grow their own supply and not support the black market that theyd do a grow thats under a certain limit in their state. Makes sense

depends on the style. sog obviously they are usually touching, you look at them touching as bad, I look at light hitting the floor as wasted.
 
See, I wish I had the growing season to do 100% sativas, My first grow we had a 15 footer that wasn't done by time it started frosting out here in Indiana.
 
yea me too. i fucking LOVE sativas. everything about them....especially the high you get from them. they're some sativas that grow as big as small trees, a little bit bigger then the pic i posted up in my last post. few draw backs like long flowering times and it being so photosensitive which can really fuck you if you dont plan an outdoor gig with it correctly. but the photosensitive thingy aint that bad of a draw back because it allows higher resistance to heat due to its light pigment, green color.
 
Exactly, I would grow Old Mother Sativa if giving the right location, Heard good things about it, and if you've ever seen Kog - a growers lot on you tube or anything, they get fucking huge man and yield pretty decently.
 
i had the opportunity to talk to someone who breeds and loves sativas that lives down in the islands near 8 degrees not sure if its north or south of equator but pretty much on it... but he gave me a list of beans he has from all his breedings. when i get some ill send you one. going to have to indoor grow it. i was going to do a trial breeding project with his sativas and a indica heavy seed im getting from a canadian breeder.
 
I like the Sativa flavours like Lemon and G13 but mine stretch too much for my grow room. So im doing Violator kush atm.

Does anyone know of any Lemoney or Cheesy Indicas that DONT stretch like fuck in flower???

go to strain finder and type in cheese or lemon and then make sure the seedbank you go thru carries the breeder http://en.seedfinder.eu/ make sure to read about the strain lol.

how many gallons is that? is it even a gallon?!?
 
yessirr!!! its clutch. i wanted to get a strain genetically similar to blue dream as much as i can, and i found a couple of candidates with that site, and future strains of interest.
 
One cubic foot is approx one gallon. I do as many as 25 clones in a 6' x 6' x 8'h area in a nine square foot table flood and drain system, eight inches deep under a 1kw/hps.
 
oh no doubt. you must be pulling good numbers huh?!?! whats the avg pull per clone in a 1gallon pot under that 100. what was your biggest? thanks for the answer to my question too btw!
