plants not taking water???

why won't my plants take water? there in soil... 6 weeks in bud. 5 days since last watering and there still soaked.

Sounds like either you water a crapload or that your soild oesnt drain well enough

Is the water draining out of the bottom at all? How often do you water? how big are the pots?What kind of soil?

There 2 gallon pots. i dont know what kind of soil it is. it does come out of the bottom when we first water them. I water them when there dry.
never had this problem before, and i used everything the same with my others.

Did you buy the soil, or get it from your yard? Also try lifting the pot and sticking a finger in the hole to see if something is blocking it.Maybe, if you've got them setting on plastic, the plastic is making a seal and not allowing the water to escape.

Hmm, well I'd have to back up and ask the same questions the two above me did. But if your plant(s) are 6 weeks into the budding stage than you must know what you are doing or at least have done whatever you did before right. So i'm not sure, thats a weird one. you have what..another 2-6weeks left before you harvest right?

Im not sure I'll do a little more research on flowering and harvesting when my plant gets to that point. Good luck.

yea i bought the soil and the holes arnt plugged. hmm it really is werid. the plants look healthy and what not but is it something i should be worried about?

I guess check if the soil has any clay in it..that could cause poor drainage.Maybe somehow the root ball is impeding the water from draining.Standing water isn't good, so I'd suggest draining any off you may have.Maybe you could go buy some sand, put a handful or two on top of the soil, and every time you water, the sand should kinda work its way down into the soil a bit. Maybe try watering less at each watering. If you can do it without damaging the plant, try to put a couple of holes in the sides of the pot.

if my soil wont dry out i sometimes squeeze the sides of the pot together a little to break up the dirt and get some air into it. just dont smash the root ball.
