Plants Not Showing Sex

I'm about a week into flowering (after 6 weeks in veg) and my plants still aren't showing a definite sex. That said, I'd like to be very certain that a plant is a male before I throw it out, but I don't want to wait so long that pollination happens and ruins any females. How long do I have to sex the plants before pollination would occur?

yeah some strains take a little longer to show there sex my winter indoor grow for this winter stash didnt show for 2 weeks

Just came home from work to find this... it seems to me to be male. Is this showing enough yo tell? These groupings of little balls are on the top few nodes (and are definitely not new vegetation).

Dang! Well, out of my first grow, I've identified 2 of 4 plants as males. I really hope the other two start showing soon, and that they're female...

Thanks for the responses guys, I really appreciate it.

In general... males show first and are "generally" taller than the females are at the beginning.. they will also "lean" towards the female...... On fresh viable seed, "generally" again, 50/50 chance.

Thanks for the condolences, it sucks losing half a crop to gender! The other two are similarly sized but not showing anything yet, so I'm optimistic yet...
