Plants not growing...help

I have a few plants that are getting kind of bushy and not growing very tall. They are about 6 weeks old. I was wondering if I need to trim some of the fan leaves to get some light down to the under growth?

I have 8-23 watt cfl lights running 18/6. They are planted in ffof and I just started 1/2 strength Fox Farm trio nutes. They seem healthy otherwise.

Any thoughts?

Yeah they look nice and healthy good internode I guess if you want them to stretch move your lights further away and see what happens but I wouldn't

If those are all "cool white" spectrum bulbs, you will get very little stretch between nodes. Switch a few of those bulbs out for the "warm" spectrum (2700K, I believe), and your plants will stretch out a little (if that's what you want).

Another option... If you top those things, the side branches will do a quick stretch until they are out from the shade of your fan leaves.

Cool, thanks for the feedback. Should I up the wattage now? I could go to 30-40 watt. Spicy...what is the technique of topping, do you think that would be really beneficial?
