Plants losing smell when flushed...

You guys growing in soil might not notice this, but I'm a coco grower and I find that if I give my plants plain water they lose their smell within a day. The other downside to flushing really early, I believe, is that the plant won't have enough nutrients to finish ripening and make that final swell to pack on extra weight. So, I like to wait till the very end to start the flush.

I'm close to cutting some plants down. It's only been 2 days since flushing but the plants aren't smelling as nice and some have lost their smell or smell slightly different. It's 81F degrees outside and no clouds so it should be pretty pungent in this weather.

My friends have tried bud that I've flushed for only 2-3 days and said it didn't taste bad and I couldn't tell the difference either.

So I'm thinking maybe this time I'll just give them a final feeding with nutes before chopping. I'll be trimming off every single leaf anyway-- if you've seen my harvest bud porn thread that's how I do it.

Any thoughts?

i'm experiencing it somewhat right now, but its only on the trainwreck, but it still stinks but it does stink a lot less...and im indoors so that probably makes a slight difference ;)

what are u flushing w? i heard a bunch of stuff to add to 'cleer-x' types of agents, such as; corn syrup, old kelp, epsome salts, humic acids,.... and i also grow in coco and had something smilar happen to an experimental lavendar haze.. so weird, first clone i took was SUPER flavorful... the leaves were so dark they were almost black.. second was flushed for over two weeks and was potent but not as and no flavor... so maybe i lost terpins or somthing... i just took a nuglet off the one i have now bout week 7ish... smelld/smoked like the first run.... WTF???
