plants looking odd?

alright so it's been about 2 weeks since i started germinating my seeds and probly a little over a week since i planted them. I only have 2 plants because i'm just trying to get a feel for growing before i go big. my question is though,

are my plants growing okay? they look a little odd to me but im new to this. also, any tips? how much am i supposed to be watering these? is it possible that my plants are so tall because i have them too far from the light?

there not getting enough light. if you have a light on them its too far awayneeds to be around 2 inches away

get yourself some 8 inch pots and burry the plants so that only about an Inch of it is sticking out , dont burry the leaves tho , and then move the light closer about 2 inches away just like "seed123" said.
