Hi guys I’m new here and I’m a new grower. I have some plants growing and they started off good but now they have seemed to slow down I now have them in a 4x4 tent ph if the water is 6.2 and I only have a sun blaze 21 t5 light on them for now until I get the LED’s I want. I also have a small fan blowing on them any advise or future tips would be great. Thanks in advance

They look fine they’re working hard growing roots.. But the stem on the little one looks odd in the pic. When you are starting out don’t look at it as a race. A lot of times new growers want to push the plant too hard with more fertilizer more water. Faster faster! In the beginning you just want to learn to grow nice healthy plants. Later you can learn how to push to the limit of what the plant will take.

Thank you the ones in solo cups are just kind of there lol the ones in the pots are my focus and I figured I was just anxious I think they might have slowed down because I transplanted them. Any thoughts?

They don't look bad. as Merlin says they're doing some root stuff, that's just as important as foliage - if not more so. Photosynthesis doesn't work without water no matter how many leaves.

I often wish they would grow faster too :-) Damnit it's been 10 minutes and I can't see a change!!

Transplanting can slow growth down for a period afterwards, it's stressful moving house.

Ahh ok thank you for your help I was also curious about my light set up I have a t5 light right now I think only 45 watts and I’m good with hooking up LED strips so just curious if i should buy a bunch of LED strips to go with my t5 light or just buy a big led light

You're welcome.

I think you're gunna need something bigger soon lighting wise, depends on the size of your space, your budget, available time and earthy location as to what to get. More details are required please :-)

I think if you are good with wiring you can get more bang for the buck building. I like that with a custom build with strips you can get total even coverage over the entire grow area. I may have gone overboard but I like full spectrum control. I used the Samsung strips for the base on one driver and added what amounts to the Mass Medical supplemental kit from RapidLED and divided that up on three other drivers.

Great info here for building:

That's a good medium! That comes with perlite. I've read other growers recommend to add 20% more organic perlite to the overall mediim to make the medium more light & easier for the roots to breathe. Idk how well that'll help you this far into your current grow, unfortunately.
