Are the stalks snapped off? The bottom section of the second one looks fine but the top looks snapped in half and taped. If not then they are dry are hell.

I second this if you zoom in you can see the repair attempt has failed, as you can see all the raw exposed inside of the stem.

The only way to realize is to send soil and tissue samples to a plant disease diagnostic lab. Many diseases such as root nematodes, Fusarium wilt, different types of root rot, etc can kill your plant overnight. Check the root system of the plant. I guess you won't see much healthy white root, if any.

It looks like you super cropped wrong and killed the top half of the plant. I'm not sure about picture number 1 though. What medium are you using? Soil or coco? is there holes in the bottom of that bucket you are using? I need more information.
