Plants already mature, cant wait till September, what to do?

Hey there everyone,

So I have some plants that I started about 10 weeks ago indoors and moved outdoors after about 4 weeks. So they are now almost 2.5 months old and are almost 5 feet tall.

SO heres my dillema, it seems like that have reached full maturity and I dont think they can get any bigger in the 6 gallon containers that I have. Its still early July and the natural 12/12 cycle isnt coming till September. So whats going to happen in the next two months? There are some signs of pre-flowers but i think thats just cos it has been raining for like 2 weeks straight and they prob thought it was fall. But its back to being 80 degrees now.

Are they going to get rootbound? Do I have anything to worry about or should I just sit and wait for them to flower?

They should be able to get quite a bit bigger in your 6 gal. pots - just be sure they get enough water and nutes!

It might make you feel better if you "Double Stack" them. Just cut the bottoms off the pots and set them on top of another 6 gal. pot (which is already loaded with a good soil mix). Allow the pot on top to be "nestled-in" an inch,or so, to avoid a "gap".

they will stay in pre flower till the light cycle changes. your just going to have to feed and water way more often espishaly during flower to get the most out of them..:hump: if you can dig a hole and cut the pot aeway with out hurting the roots that would be your best bet....

Nice. But if i just leave them like they are now, they should be fine? I just dont wana come back in a couple weeks and see em dieing.

Also, they longer they sit out there the more theyr gettin eaten by bugs. I have used a whole bottle of this organic stuff from Agway and it has somewhat kept them at bay, still a lot of holes in my leaves though. Any one use that Dont Bug Me stuff from Fox Farm? any other suggestions?

If you are only going to go take care of them every couple weeks they should be in the ground without a container and still if there's no rain for a while...
