plants 2 weeks into flowering. Do i have enough light ?

I just love asking questions and getting feedback on this site...people seem to have different opinions on things but overall this site is very educational and fun...Anyways first grow for me. I started out with a 180 watt led ufo based on info from a buddy then after i did some research i had wished i just got a 400 hps. Now ive added 6 of the large 67 watt 2700k 4200 lumens cfls with my 180 watt led. plants are 2 weeks into budding and they look very nice. i have 5 plants are about a 13 to 14" tall with nice little buds forming everywhere. Im guessing i have enough light and based on the results so far.. i just may stick with the lighting i have now instead of going to the 400 hps. plus i like the fact the the temps are down. im guessing the hps would create more heat. plus im growing in a small sealed closet. Any opinions on my lighting would be appreciated ....Thanks guys

Sounds pretty normal to me for just 2 weeks in. Watch and see what happens by week 4 and you will have a better idea. I doubt you're going to break any yield records or anything but you, and you won;t get the density that a 400 watt HPS would give but you'll get something.

Here's my theory, and I fully understand its not a perfect science as there are considerable variables.. You're yield is directly tied with amount of light. You could either have fewer larger pants or a larger number of smaller plants. Some setups are better suited for one or the other so it's kinda something you dial in. Good luck with whatever you do bro!

yea a 400W HPS do get very hot, if you want to use one in a small closet you will have problem with heat, and will have to address it, big ventilations/AC and cool hood/tube`s are the answer, but IMO the LEDs are the way to go in small spaces maybe you just need a ufo/panel more ? and/or continue to use the CFLs

And yea RIU is a cool place, but like every where els you will get different opinions and advice, take every thing in here with a grain of salt so to speak, at least don't rush it and do anythings drastic to your plant`s based to some guy on RIU advice base on the little knowledge he got from you (pictures is a must on RIU so get started)

if you Etc. have a problem and ask for advice, take what ever advice that seem`s most logic to you and similar to your situation, and then do some research on it (google is a great tool) but in the end the only way to find out for yourself and gain experience is by DIY, tho still don't hurt to gather some knowledge and get some directions
