Plantmax lamps

I've used alot of different bulbs. Ushio, Eye, Optilume, Sunmaster, each have bulbs that are good and reliable. The draw back with most of those brands are the damn prices. I found an alternative. Plantmax, I got a new lamp from 1000bulbs.com. I paid less than $10 for a 400 watt M.H. at 7200k. I run a 600 watt digital Lumatek. There are alot of bulbs that won't fire when you adjust the power down for some reason or another. I popped this one in, and bam no problem fired right up. The color off this bulb is just great. It's called sky blue on the box, it is like the perfect summer day under that light. I have to say the color from this bulb is better than the Eye Hortilux I have and I paid a damn ton for that bulb. More lumens and better blue hue. I'm not sure what the kelvin rating is on the Hortilux, but it is the Blue they have. Oh well just thought I'd put it out there for everybody. howdy...sorry if this is a dead thread...but you posted exactly what i was searching for...info on plantmax bulbs.
i'm lookin to purchase a new 1000w hps bulb and cant stand the a$$ reaming the big brands dish out lol....so...are the plantmax bulbs still workin out for ya? any opinions for their hps lamps?
