Hey guys, hope everyones grows are going well !

I have been researching hard trying to find a good answer, but im still not sure and i know someone here will be able to give a good answer ,

question is - i live down southern australia (Vic) and wanted to start my plants for a week or so under lights in August then pop them out into greenhouses for a few weeks at the start of September (which is our first month of spring) Will i be putting them outside too early?

the reason i want to start them early is thats the only chance i will have to use the lights.
Temperatures outside wont be too bad, and the greenhouse should help but i dont want to stunt any growth in the plants.
All strains i have chosen are for cool climate areas and should be tough

CHEEEEERS guys take it easy :) or any way you can get it

when is your longest day of summer ? I would go out 1 month before that so you don't take a chance in bad weather or budding to early and then revegging. :leaf:

Thanks for the replies guys :)!
Longest day of summer here I believe is at the very end of December so fairly late ,
I've had problems before with plants just growing super slow and that's what I want to avoid this year .
Turns out I can use the lights until the end of September , then I'll pop them into the greenhouse for a few weeks and pop them out I think halfway through October .
Hope you guys follow my grow this year it's gonna be huge :)
Thanks for the replies !

No bro dont do this, its too cold in vic in sept. Also they will flower due to short days then any buds u get will be spindly, stringy because days are getting longer. Keep them under fluro 24/0 then put them out mid Oct at earliest.

Oh okay sweet :)
And there's no way they can go out any earlier if I have them
In a greenhouse ?
Sounds good though , last year I put them out early they didn't flower but it stunted their growth .
They were like an inch high for 6 or so weeks haha .
Ended up still getting to about 2 meters by the end though so I guess mid October is when it gets good out there :)
Cheers bro
