Planting in the ground?

Should I plant in the ground or move it into a bigger pot? Also would planting next to a creek be beneficial?

i would plant it in the ground if you will never need to move it, the plant will yield more overall

Ok cool. I have no need to move it really. Would you happen to know if planting near a body of water would be beneficial to the plant?

the creek will overflow; keep back a bit from it on an elevated area. you can hide a bucket nearby to get creek water. keep it in a bucket, imo. ya never know if you'll have to move it.

For the plant...not really ...but for you lugging water, yes....
