Planting in BC's Caribou-Chilcotin

Hey everyone. Does anyone have any experience growing outdoors in British Columbia in the caribou chilcotin region? It's a bit north of the Okanagen.
I have a bit of experience growing in northern Ontario but found it hard to finish plants due to the wet\frost. I've grown alot under an hid setup indoors.
What strains would do well outdoors in that region of BC? Any grows on here from that area? And when does planting season starts there?
Any help would be great. I've been wanting to grow in BC for years. I'm moving there in a few weeks!!

Hey guy growing in Southeast alaska. .looking for someone I can but he as with threw this growing season....I live in a real heavy maritime climate....grown indoors for years under hid and led....soil grower more interested in quality versus quantity...bought a new place that's remote and a gentleman farm so gonna try and grow bigger crop outdoors....my people are all medical patients

But heads with....freaking auto-Correct..doesn't help I shake real bad...got bad parkinsons disease...thank goodness for my medicine...lol
