I know that some strains have their flowering months and I have several AK-47's and if I planted some in June, and harvest in October will it still produce like a normal plant planted in the spring.
I live in U.S zone 7.

They should be ok, but starting a plant out door mid summer is hard, u got to water a seedling 1-2 times a day tell shes big or she will burn (around here). Mid summer the only place i plant is a cornfield. they water em an the other corn gives you shade.

In july they wont be very big at a month old an start to flower, they will grow in early flowering a bit also so I would guess shell be 2ft tall. Like a clone in 12/12.

+1 to the water a lot, I tried starting plants in late may early june and it just didn't work. I'd get to one spot late on a hot day and almost all of the seedlings would be dead. I gave up on it.

If youre gonna be tossing em into the wild towards the mid/end of summer or actually during summer at all, you prob wanna start em inside till theyre about 6-8" tall (not that long, couple weeks). You could start em in Solo cups till they were that big, and then go toss em in the ground.

Id also recomend you get some of those water retaining chips and pre soak em before you stick em in the ground.......Summer time is Brutal. Even here in the NE.
